I strongly discourage new people investing into "payment processor" coins b/c the future is very uncertain due to different types of laws in each country. This will kill the progress of the coin and by the time they resolve the problem, they will be forgotten by the community, like Tenx. This type of coin is really similar to security and they going to have tons of problems with the government.
For regarding with Tenx, they should of shift away from cards thing and focus on COMIT from the start but that didn't happen. They just wasted away 6 months of advantage they had over their competition and they have fallen behind. Tenx is NOT that focus, that is why it drop from top 30 to lows 90's. This should tell you something about the company.

tenx is a decent token, i like that back end infrastructure ideas. The execution is the only concern here.
BABB doesn't have a banking license yet, so TenX may have a bit of an advantage for the time being, as they already have the liquidity to move things along fairly quickly. BABB looks like a pretty solid project, but new competition doesn't mean the death of the incumbent. Competition drives innovation, so either way, I see this as a good development. There's room for more than one crypto bank/card services provider.
What's TENX's plan if the big Card Networks(Visa, MC, Discover and AMEX) shut down any link to crypto?
I know Julian says Visa is still onboard, but are they considering the Wavecrest debacle.
Are there other Networks a Merchant Card terminal can access that TENX could use?

Well at the moment there is no official information about the way, how VISA will handle crypto cards. But the shutdown of wavecrest was not because of crypto, but because of some things that went against their regulations.

The BABB project seems more focussed on bringing basic bank services (bank account, basic account functions like transferring money) on a 1st world level to the 3rd world. Spending crypto-to-fiat like TenX is not the focus of BABB although they intend to issue basic cards for spending BABB money at supporting merchants with a BABB account. BABB is thus more about online banking mixed with crypto while TenX is primarily focussed at holding crypto while spending it like fiat.
The Fintech projects are on the rise lately. Early birds like TenX, Centra and Monaco are accompanied by relative newcomers like Plutus, Bankera and BABB. OmiseGo probably also qualifies partially as worldwide banking platform in this respect.
All of them are building the future infrastructure of finance. Exciting times.
Some may be put outta business when the time comes because at the end of the day, It's all about the business and competitions that abound. TenX is great but It needs to start offering unique benefits other than the few percentage difference in fees.
As has been mentioned before, TenX is trying to secure their own banking license, in which case, they would not need to rely on 3rd parties to broker payment cards. i'm very interested if the cards are available to order from russia. is it possible? it's a shame that most of cards projects with all those millions caps can't manage using cards outside EU.

It looks legit; I discussed with their tech support, they have one; but most people didn't receive their card yet, so not much of feedback. And now, because of Wavecrest they also have to find another card provider.
If you want to preorder the card, you have to fund that BTC wallet first, but, since a few days ago, even preordering is not possible anymore.

Potential New Card Issuer will be dropping soon, other BIG NEWS includes TenX feature on Fox Business and Meetup at the Paris Fintech Forum. TenX PAY is a ERC20 token built on top of Ethereum that will allow users to connect their blockchain assets and spend their cryptocurrency directly as currency in the real world.
Are they still working on getting a bank license themselves? If so is there an ETA on this? Relying on WaveCrest is not ideal

Right, TenX cards don't work anymore. They are working with a new issuer to get back online as soon as possible, and yes they are also working on their own banking license but this will take some more time, I think I've read in summer if I remember correctly.
Things been tough on TenX, but with a good team hopefully they will recover by the summer. Would be silly to panic and sell, best bet HODL and if they do manage to get the banking license watch the price explode
Yes, that is the best way we have to hold the coin because already the team is trying their best to get approval from the bank. But the major problem is lack communication, this makes some time panic about the company.
