I hope they can survive the Visa fallout. Here's the link to the article. Noticed it was edited in the quoted post: https://www.ccn.com/visa-ceo-we-wont-accept-bitcoin-directly/

Keep Calm & HODL. Have faith folks, they'll find a solution.

Readind the linked article from your post, I start to dislike VISA more and more! We don't need VISA to spend our crypto, they don't rule here, in fact there are more other ways to spend crypto than VISA! In my opinion, they were given too much importance!

Did they reveal anything about what they're doing right now for resolving it?

I will watch the podcast later but I have a few questions in the meantime.
Has an alternative card supplier/partner been announced?

I read this morning that VISA have announced they are not
going to be processing bitcoin transactions.
https://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2018/01/17/visa-will-not-process-bitcoin-transactions-says-ceo-alfred-kelly.html

Where does that leave the project?

I hear they are working on their own banking license, then they don't have to rely on third party card issuers , who can at any given time pull out of the operation.

If this will be completed I expect a good pump. Holding tenx long term anyway. I this 2018 will be a good year. Ordered my card as well, hopefully they will catch up on the backlag soon.

But banking license is a long term process not sure its something they can secure in a few months
I'm willing to wait a few months. The project is quite promising. I'm going to hodl

whats the biggest competitor of tenx as of today?

Probably Centra...maybe Xapo(?).

Centra faked their videos from the ICO days - they used a normal Credit Card by JP Morgan Chase... Plus a class action lawsuit gonna hit them. Do not trust Centra.

Is this project affected by wirecard issues? Is it true that all cards are now blocked?

Indeed tenX is affected like a lot of other crypto and non-crypto card project. But they are currently working with a new supplier that should be able to release the card soon.

Ah ok that sounds promising!
I would imagine seeking a banking license would take a bit of time.
Anyway not having to rely on a third party sounds like a real positive
move and shows this is a real project looking to progress forward.
I too have a card ordered and holding PAY for a while.

In a nutshell: What are blockchain, a cryptocurrency, consensus and a fork?

These 12 minutes are part of an hour talk of Julian at the cryptoconference in St. Moritz, where he shared about the progress of TenX, the ecosystem in general and the future of blockchain. At TenX it is our mission to make virtual currencies spendable anytime anywhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ks4XfYTSPE

Are there any news concerning new TenX cards? As i understand they are not issuing new cards at the moment, because Wavecrest is out of the game?

Something to read.
