Nice to see the project is coming along smoothly. Going to be great to have these new wallets up and running to get a Tiered MN up and running. I hope the rewards is correct with the removal of the extra 0 as if the 0 is there then Tier 3 guys will be collecting a Tier 1 MN quite quickly.
Might be true. It all depends of how much you get per day average. If you only get one MN reward on average a day, a tier 4 MN (700000 traw) gives more just by staking normally in the wallet. You need at least, on average of course, more than 1 POS rewards daily, to make it worthwhile. We well see.
What I’m equal interested in, is that Goat does not water down the coins in circulation already, during the swap, by increasing the max supply. Currently there are 25,5 million in circulation, 25 mill premined and about 500000 stake reward from the entire community during the last 4 month. As far as I know there is no max supply, but currently 2,5 traw reward per stake, we will go a long way before we hit 30 mill or more. Good, not too big an inflation.
However as stated by Goat the new reward will be 7,5 traw per stake, which leads me to believe he will increase either the premine or total supply, to something like 50-75 million, maybe even 100 mill, both which is no good.
Say you have 10000. You had 10000 in 25 million, now you have 10000 in 75 million. Hmmm I will be very disappointed if that happens. Clear watering down the coin. Of course all this is depending that the swap is 1:1, which it might not be.
