A swap to new wallet.

Releases : https://github.com/XCurrency/xc/releases

1 - backup wallet.dat
2 - copy wallet.dat into new xc3 data directory
3 - run xc3, you will receive a warning about keys
4 - check to see if you have the privatekeys from old wallet

If you get this message :

"Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly,
but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."

then your allset, if you get :

"wallet.dat corrupt salvage failed"

Use command dumpprivkey adressname in the old XC wallet to get the private key.

Use importprivkey with that key in the new XC wallet.

Explorer : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#
Old : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc2/

If you need the old wallet :

Snapshot : https://mega.nz/#!oS51RQrR!FNDN_j2spU1a3hBChKIx0JHU3MVDKDbjuYOJECaW_jI

Use these instructions to setup your servicenode. 5000XC needed.

https://github.com/BlocknetDX/blocknet-docs/blob/master/blocknetDXservice-node.md

Use port 14333 instead for XC.

So are there two chains right now? Which one is novaexchange on??

I have collected required number of coins couple of days ago on novaexchange in dip, to run node. I am still waiting for the road to be cleared for XC but reason of staying fully strong is side project of the developer where he is busy. Once that is done this one is going to skies.

Follow instructions download wallet : https://github.com/XCurrency/xc/releases

Windows version is done rest will follow.

There wont be any funds until the swap is complete tomorrow.

1 - backup wallet.dat
2 - copy wallet.dat into new xc3 data directory
3 - run xc3, you will receive a warning about keys
4 - check to see if you have the privatekeys from old wallet

balances will be zero until after the swap tomorrow 0800 EST.

Check your recieve adress in file-recieve adress menu.

Or use command listreceivedbyaddress 0 true.

Verify adress : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#

Also when I check my adress through https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/# , I see a balance of 0
This while I currently have about 4000 XC in my old wallet.

Is there an explanation for this ?

Im not sure someone had same issue waiting for answer...

Ok, cool. If that's in Slack btw then that's me as well Wink

Will probably be the new chain in the explorer and balance will appear after swap.
That's what I'm hoping for at least

It was very surprising for me to see XCurrency has been removed from coinmarketcap. I went there to get information about existing markets to check what is going on but it isn't anymore there. I understand it was planned to be rebranded but thread is silent for this thing for quite some time.

Thanks m8 ! Looks like I'm all set.

Only thing I don't understand is your remark to check the receive adress.
Do I need to generate a new receive adress from the XC3 wallet ?
Or can I still use my old receive adress ?
And how can I verify this adress ?

2 - copy wallet.dat into new xc3 data directory
3 - run xc3, you will receive a warning about keys
4 - check to see if you have the privatekeys from old wallet
balances will be zero until after the swap

If you get this message :

"Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly,
but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."
