You should buy some ZLD than Smiley Check this out: https://blog.zold.io/2019/01/16/make-me-rich.html

I am planning to earn some coins by running a node. Will I?

You will, but slowly. If your node is fast enough and stable, you will get (best case) ~1 ZLD per day.

Keep in mind that ZOLD is not a coin without value, like many other coins (including Bitcoin). ZOLD, right from the start, has a very well defined value and we guarantee. Thus, for us, distributing ZOLD coins would be direct monetary losses.
Pretty original concept ... I would even say too original ...
I understand you yourself set the price for your coin and sell and buy it for this value? You must have a good financial reserve.

every ZLD is backed by real Bitcoin. think of a 100% gold-backed currencies. it's the same. the bitcoin wallet is public so the system if fully transparent

Do you have fees successfully? could do on the site or announce here how much finance has already been collected and how much is still needed before the final result

You're right. I probably will. Only I want to wait for the wallet for Windows to exit and then launch my ZOLD node. I do not know how to use Linux.
I'm not sure that soon there will be a wallet for Windows. They say that the current wallet can also be run on Windows. But how to do it, I do not know. Ask in the chat in Telegram.
After starting the node, say how it was, is it difficult to establish, and what result then Cool

Project ZOLD also needs to be stepped up in marketing promotion. I would recommend holding a bounty on the forum, for example, setting a reward for signature. This would attract a lot of new people to the project.
It would be very cool to run a bounty. I would love to participate and advertise the project on the forum and in social networks.
Is such an award beneficial for the project itself? That is the question? If the team did not launch, then they have other plans

You're right. I also ran into this. It seems to me that many may not like this identification of users through their account on the GitHub.

Why?

And why when you try to install a wallet, does it necessarily bind to the Githab account? I have not seen this in any project ...

Should I specify my public IP here? Should I forward any port to this host?

Yes, you have to provide your public IP address there (or hostname).

Also, I can't open anything related to Zold locally in browser, it says "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". What should I do to ensure my Zold node is running OK?

Once your node starts, you will see a JSON page there.

Indeed, it's sad. We will work on that. I will add a comment to the first message in this thread. Thanks for reporting the bug.
Also, during the installation process under Ubuntu 16.04 the command "source /etc/profile.d/rvm.sh" returns that "No such file or directory". But Zold gem seems to be installed successfully without that command.

But when I'm trying to start the node, it says:

So sad... Sure, I have Linux on several PCs, but... Could you indicate this in the project description?

What will we do with my issue at GitHub?
