Indeed, I remember first reading a mention of BLC whilst browsing a list of clones at http://com-http.us/
Stumbled on this oddly-named gem in the midst of all the crapcoins. Blake? What the heck is that?! I've been impressed by your technical achievements over the past year.

Whoo hoo, Happy birthday Blakecoin! A lot has happened in one year. Who remembers mining with cpu, or when reaper GPU support was added? The first exchange openex, the first pool? I remember network hash rate @ ~50ghs.

Anyways, the future Blakecoinoin is even more exciting!

Cheers, Blue

NY2 updated OK.

Already got all the other wallets sync'd, I just used the .conf on the OPs.

I did lose a few coins to now-unreachable wallets, but not too many as EU3 is my default pool & it only goes to NY2 when EU3 goes down - which still happens a bit too often, unfortunately.

The 'share-rate stability' kinda still sucks too, but I bet you're working your ass off to solve that too Grin

Hi Blue Grin

Figured this was best place to catch your attention.

Amongst the problems I think I CAN solve myself, I have one big one that I can't - and it's already cost me coins Sad

NY2 refuses to update my new wallet addies, or even turning autopayouts to '0', just says

"Failed to update your account: Unable to connect to RPC server for coin address validation".

I've been trying periodically since yesterday.

The other 3 updated OK.

For info, 3 of the QTs will not sync 'out of the box'

- BlakeBitCoin, Dirac & Photon.

Says "No block source available" - but I'll check their pages for updated .conf files before I start bitching Wink

Congrats on 'BlakeTrader', looks useful, will register & do giveaway entry once I've solved everything else Wink

working on ny2 now

for the qt add
addnode=146.185.135.24
addnode=107.170.132.68
addnode=66.172.12.77
addnode=108.61.242.204
addnode=178.62.44.147

Edit:
should not be any issues on ny2 try again and let me know

BlueDragon, thanks for the update, sounds good. so when you said "multi platform updater" does that mean the game will run on Windoze/Mac/Linux?
The unity engine is very multi-platform. All the above plus Android/IOS/PS3/XBOX,etc. Now that dosen't mean all will be supported by BD each platform can be built from the same source but need it's own tweaks.

main target will be Windows/Linux/Mac and the auto updater supports these, closed beta might just be Windows/Linux due to time constraints as we are only a very small team but if demand is high for a Mac closed beta client will try to find time somewhere

I dont currently have the licence for XBOX or PS3 as it would need to be approved by the vendor (Sony/Microsoft) plus the fee for the licence but yes it is possible  Cool

Android/IOS I do have a pro licence the main issue with those platforms is size of storage, screen size, control input and graphics power but with some work it is also possible but not any plans for them in closed beta

we can build to the web player which works on most platforms assuming it has the graphics power to drive the game at a decent framerate as our games are going to be AAA 3D rather than retro or 2D maybe in the future when we grow into a studio might have time/resources to do other types of game projects but atm focus is on our Apocalyptic MMO FPS then the Fantasy MMO RPG we do have a couple of other titles documented but not in production just not enough hours in a day to fit it all in Cry

Unity 5 looks good hence why we have been cleaning the code to make sure an upgrade does not break too much, things like WebGL, Global Illumination, Physically-based shaders and a 64bit editor are welcomed and as soon as a stable Unity 5 Pro is available we will be trying to port to it at some point, the current Unity 5 beta is not suitable for production and we would most likely move to Unity 4.6 first

Realistically I think Unity 5 is most likely a feature of the open beta client some time in 2015 for info on what that will bring go here: http://unity3d.com/5
