Yeah I'm in the top 100  Grin
I'm definitely gonna try out your p2pool mrpj

Edit: question about getting stake coins and its timer.. Is the timer only running when wallet is running? When wallet is closed does the timer a) pause, or b) reset, or c) it's not a timer it's a time stamp that are cmp with a GPS clock?

Yeah some more workers for the p2pool - also working on a port of mpos for cachecoin

About your question:
For staking your wallet has to be open - best is to stake with higher stake size - i.e. atleast recommended is about 20-50 CACH ;-)

About how - kalgecin has to answer

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE

Today I moved stats.cachecoin.org and explorer.cachecoin.org to a new dedicated server - so things should be faster now - especially the explorer.

At the same time I fixed some issues with the explorer and added top 100 address to the stats
http://stats.cachecoin.org/charts/top100

Also very exciting news:

Since the hashrate is increasing and CACHeCoin is all about distributing hashrate so its equally among the network, I've created another p2pool node that can be reached under

http://cache.cryptoprojects.eu:8336/static/

It has a clean and slick interface - so please also use my node (All fees go back into development of the pages and the network)

Btw, if anyone wants to create a Mac QT client, I have posted a 100 CACH bounty for it.

I tried but failed and went nuts.

Maybe another try in a few days Smiley

miner conf
ApplecoinMiner --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1388949883 --retries 1000 -o http://127.0.0.1:2224 -u dongjin -p 123123

Use the miners linked to in the OP.  They work in solo or pooled mode.

Possible that the appleminer simply cant handle getwork and uses stratum only - why solo mine anyway? Join a pool Smiley

Unless you got your own private farm of course Cheesy

Sure enough,a good coin markets itself - but I still think we should update the thread start with the current exchanges and a summary of the coin.

Please give suggestions as to what's missing

hi guys, how many pools do we have now except for http://cach.catcoin.cz? I saw netwok hashrate is 80MH/S, while cach.catcoin.cz pool hashrate is just 8M. And, how could I solo mine CACHecoin with my own graphic cards? Waiting for your reply!

edit your cachecoin.conf and add
Code:
rpcuser=someusername
rpcpassword=somepassword
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=2224
server=1

and point your miner to http://127.0.0.1:2224 -u someusername -p somepassword
Is port 2224 down? I did that and it says "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid". Could you help me please?

Can you please provide more info? OS? what miner you are using? Is the wallet and miner on the same machine? etc etc. You can join the irc channel for faster responses
Sorry, but what's irc channel? My OS is win7-64bit, the miner is applecoin-miner1.2-release. My wallet and miner isn't on the same machine. I want to unit my different machines to solo mine this coin. Here is my wallet .conf and miner conf:

wallet .conf
rpcuser=dongjin
rpcpassword=123123
rpcallowip=*
server=1
rpcport=2224

miner conf
ApplecoinMiner --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1388949883 --retries 1000 -o http://127.0.0.1:2224 -u dongjin -p 123123

And also, I tried r05's suggestion to change rpcport to 44444, but it still didn't work. When I mine on pools, everything is right.
Please help me check what's wrong. Many thanks!

Change the port - it can be anything. I set mine to 44444 and it works fine. Windows tends to have a bit of an issue opening ports in the lower ranges (0-10000).

Whoever is mining with Ce9hvb5QAYvD1wpHa1hj5Hqc3cDceojJpF you are most likely using an unmodified cgminer or wrong nTime, all your shares are rejected.

Should be working again, as the pool grew it reached the 1024 open files limit (wtf is p2pool doing exactly ^^) i increased that one quite a bit so the web interface shouldnt break anymore...hopefully Smiley

As said earlier, always keep backup pools in your conf!

P2Pool p2cache.syware.de  is currently under maintenance, please add p2pool.cachecoin.org and q30.qhor.net as your backup. It is always strongly advised to have at least 2 pols in as backup pools.
Or use the p2pool scanner to find the best node available Smiley

Yup Blizzard, and another childhood friend is on one of their tournament teams. I think I can get the right ears to at least have that conversation.

I just got in contact with a friend at Blizzard I went to school with, going to see what we can arrange with regard to crypto/cach being accepted. Cheesy
Blizzard?

I think you'd be due a pretty hefty BTC donation if you could pull off something with that...  Smiley
