So about that Multipool,  I had a though...   Shocked

Since the MP may cause a security issue by pulling miners off the chain what if we only had Sha, X11 and X13 as options.  That way Scrypt miners would still need to mine the chain keeping it secure and it would open up CGA to more miners.  I think this solves the only downside I saw with an MP.

Above all else we have to keep the network secure!

Thoughts?

Also were close enough to the deadline that I can give a ruff number on the unclaimed...

Right now it's a little over 16k CGA that have gone unclaimed.  That is easily enough that we could sell some and raise the funds for a MP but again... This is your guys' coin as much as it is mine so I want to hear what you have to say.

Well, if you're thinking of selling some, what's the offer?

I dunno.  Would have to think about it but just to guage, what about 9000 sat???

That's a fair price, still low enough so it would be a nice perk for those willing to take jump. It's also 50% more than what I pointed out at 6k, 6.5k, whatever it was. win win.  Wink

Not sure if this was addressed yet:

I tried to "swap" my V1 CGA from Swisscex (putting the V1 swap address [prefix:A] that I received from the swap site in the "withdraw" box) only to get an "invalid address" error. I then just tried my V2 address and it went through and confirmed.

So what I gathered from this is that Swisscex did their own swap, have the V2 wallet running and are still delisting.

If anyone else has CGA at Swisscex, you can (and should) withdraw them into your V2 wallet.

Ya I never got confirmation from them but they sounded like they were going to just use the swap site to trade out the coin on their exchanges.

Is the block explorer correct - one address has nearly 2/3 of all CGA?

Unless that is an exchange it would seem to be a bit of a problem.

My guess would be that's Poloniex

By that amount I'd def be guessing its polo as well. We are selling Diem from our unclaimed if anyone is interested in buying a bulk amount. Your purchase will roi for u and also go towards getting our multipool. Please pm me or hope in #diemcoin and pm apmapm12

Sorry for the confusion.  Will all the changes I may have created a jumbled mess of information in the OP.  I edited it to be a bit more clean now.

After you sent to the "invalid address" did you coins stay in your wallet?  If they were on Polo they should have and if they aren't in there open a ticket with them and they should be able to put your coins back in your account.

Also all the exchanges have been changed over so the site only needs to be used if you have coins in a wallet or maybe a pool/other random site (ie gambling) that wasn't updated.

COINS NEVER LEFT POLO - IT DID TAKE THEM A FEW DAYS TO POST A MESSAGE THAT THE ADDRESS WAS INVALID.

Good so no coins were lost.  I'm glad for that.
Again, I apologize for the confusion.  Does the OP look better now?

Just a spelling error I see, "sapped" and I would bold this:
"If you have coins on Poloniex, they have been swapped already, but if you have coins in an old "V1" wallet, use the link." Added the V1 to the statement and I added punctuation. copy and paste, and that should settle ALL confusion. remember, some people don't read English very well and need to translate Smiley

The swap link still works properly, I sent the TX fees I've been collecting to confirm the swap link is still valid.

if Polo has already converted my coins that is not make clear in the OP - all I knew is that they were old coins mined months ago.

and the answer is YES - they are still on Polo but the op says they must be converted before 10/1

the OP needs to be rewritten for clarity purposes.

and what's this supposed to mean?

OK, well I agree it isn't as clear as it might be but equally I don't think it is impossible to work out.

As I understand it (and for clarity I should say I am not involved in any way I'm just trying to help here), the situation is:

1. at some point (now in the past) Poloniex converted any coins held on the Poloniex exchange to V2 coins - so any coins that were there will have been converted and are now "V2"
2. after that conversion was done - V1 coins held anywhere else (e.g. other exchanges, in wallets, etc.) that still need to be converted, can be done using the coinswap link on or before 1 October

So if you have a V1 wallet with any coins you need to convert them using the coinswap link.

If you want to withdraw from Poloniex - you need to give a V2 wallet address.

Does that help?
