It's interesting to see how it will work out. Yes, we are for sure a long term ICO. More so a long term project. Definitely trying to make something new here. Trading is opening soon though.

Hi! Nice to see some updates on the project. BTW I cannot login into the webpage, nor with Chrome nor even with another browser like Firefox. The captcha doesn't show at all on any browser. Is the Alpha version release going on the scheduled date?
That is interesting. We are not sure as to why the captcha appears to be caching the JS on some browsers. We think this might be due to new TLS standards and audit measures. We might just remove this for now to avoid any issues. Alpha is still on schedule yes as we will be testing many features with the user trading. only thing that might not be ready is mining. We will keep you all posted though, however, we only say this to be safe, we feel confident everything will be.

Also, at some point we have to universalize where we update information. I will try and copy paste things over, but as things get more complex, time consuming, and ever growing, it will make more sense to allow this thread to be a user thread, and the soferox forum to be our main place for information. But we will continue to update this thread and keep people posted here. You can subscribe to our forum for updates too to make things easier.

Soferox's vision was never to be a pump and dump and until we feel things are working to our satisfaction you won't see us on exchanges. - what does it mean? Does it mean that we can never exchange our sfx coin and it is now useless or what?
No of course the coin will have a stored value and can be traded. What that means is we aren't like ICO's you are probably use to where the coin is on the exchange immediately before platform is even ready. We are building a new blockchain and because of that things take more time than most the of ERC20 token ICO's out there today.

Yes it will. But only if we list it with a purpose. If it is just being traded then it has a strong chance of crash. We released an update on listing and exchanges

this has to be one of the slowest ico releases, might be a good thing though .... Hopefully platform is bug free when released and then shock and awe when this goes live, finally.
We've had a timeline of things since before the ICO even started. The idea though is to be bug free yes though. So things aren't going slow, they are on time, and progressing as we have had on the site since before pre-sale. Not to mention our platform isn't just another ERC20 pump and dump, but an entire blockchain in and of itself.
