hi,

try to mine in my pool : crc.e-pool.net:8830 , the payment is instant, and directly in your wallet. Also pm me if you need help.

Config example:

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://crc.e-pool.net:8830 -u YourWalletAddress -p password --scrypt

If you have the big Mh/s power you can set the level of difficulty sent to your miner by appending a difficulty setting to your wallet address.

The following difficulty settings can be used as a guide:

Kh/s        Difficulty
1           +0.00000116
50          +0.000058
100         +0.000116
250         +0.00029
500         +0.00058
750         +0.00087
1000        +0.00116
1250        +0.00145
1500        +0.00174
1750        +0.00203
2000        +0.00232

To determine the difficulty for your specific hash rate multiply by 0.00000116
For example, if your miner is capable of 1440 Kh/s:

1440 * 0.00000116 = 0.0016704

Example Connection String for a miner capable of 1440 Kh/s:

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://crc.e-pool.net:8840 -u YourWalletAddress+0.0016704 -p password --scrypt

hi guys,

at my witts end now with this miner.

can someone please show me a pool mining conf file i need using minerd for the CRC wallet?

i have been seeing some strange behavior with certain pools and with certain login details. if i join one pool with a generic username and my password i get shares almost instantly, in to the hundreds.although they dont show in my wallet.

however if i join other pools with my CRC wallet address i dont see a thing for an hour at best.

i have also noticed minerd and crc wallet doing strange things when mining. the pools when i receive plenty of shares tend to make the wallet interface non responsive. i can see the processes moving between 50/50 minerd and wallet. then i need to kill all processes because the wallet/miner wont respond.

i will bounty this to the person who helps me out with this. 1000 DVC.

just trying to get the kids off my back.

TIA.

hi CRC fans,

i have a kind of newb question with respect to the CRC prominer pool payouts and maybe the minerd/wallet qt program as well.

i have left the miner running for 2 days and i have the "accepted" shares at a couple thousand and the "rejected" at 30 or 40.

the kids said that the minerd went down to 50% cpu and then stopped responding also the wallet qt was fluctuating between 50/50 with minerd.

anyway, how do we know if we got any coins at all?

i have used my own generated pool username on the prominer pool and have set a password. just want to know how the coins if any get to my wallet?

to start the miner i select the mining icon on the wallet and then put the pool and username and run it that way. minerd etc are in the same folder as the miner so all the program details are correct. i dont run the miner via CLI in the console.

Its a shame no one is setting up any servers to use this coin in minecraft.  IT'd g a long way to making the coin worthwhile.

Also I have looked at options, and the solution you have submitted seems to be the best fix. The longer I observe the coin, the more I am convinced that the changes you proposed are the perfect fit. There could be an update in the next couple days.

Given the (12 hour) pause, any chance of trying this Smiley ?

thanks for the reply. I know how it works (the behaviour of big players joining and leaving and the results in long duration until the next block is found then).

curious for me at this moment was, that even my wallet client didnt catch up with the blockchain - it did not begin to download the missing blocks to my local folder (i had several active connections in the client) - this and the fact of no found block since hours was the reason for my question...

It's not stuck.

The Diff waves cause long periods of stalls before new blocks are found in the pools.
The big fish leave once the diff gets too high and then we're stuck trying to work on a crazy diff with low hash power. After a few blocks it readjusts back down.
Then big fish jump back in.

Rinse and repeat.

Did i miss something or is the coin stuck atm? Curiously, Stratum says there are new blocks detected, but the blockchain keeps stuck on block 21214... so what?
