The community member degeri had the idea to create a bug bounty program for Decred.
This was put to a vote on Politeia and approved.
Now it's released!

All infos here: https://bounty.decred.org

Bug bounty? it seems very interesting to work on, six months is quite a long time to find bugs, but I will try it and hope it will run smoothly.

Prices have been on the rise almost since the beginning of the coin.
After the algorithm was fixed to allow for smoother price changes, it has been on a slow but steady upward trend regardless of price.
Ticket splitting is too new to account for that, although I imagine it further increases the upward pressure as the barrier to entry in the staking activity has been removed.

The ticket prices are always going up despite the bear market. Might the miners be buying the tickets too? Would it not cause some sort of "failure" in the system if they "control" the POW side and the POS side?

Many people are splitting tickets.
It was after that that the ticket price began to rise

I heard him say that on-chain governance won't work from one of his tweets. Although he did not into it because Twitter's character limit.

I will reach out to him and ask why. Let's find a rebuttal. Cool

Who the fuck is John Carvalho?
A youtuber with 6 videos produced, with 1000 visualizations in the most watched?
A guy with 29,000 fake followers on twitter?
He's probably just wanting some attention and to be a dick after reading this Tone Vays comment:

I believe John Carvalho is one of the Bitcoiners who came in with the wave 2011 - 2012. That's before most of us. He is not some Youtuber. Hahaha.

His views, and insights about Bitcoin are sound, and between him and Tone Vays, I pick him.

Plus do not attack the person, attack the debate. I wanted to ask him why he said Decred is an "absolute joke", but someone already asked. John didn't give a reply. It would have been good to know his opinion.

maybe he didn't answer because he don't know how to "prove" what he said.
an "absolute joke" are strong words.. it's not like to say "decred have some weaknesses"
