I personally am a fan of ProgPoW - I think that the more accessible mining is the better from an economic perspective and decentralized principles.

amazes me that pow shills have no consideration for the environment. face it, decred was started by wanna be ver crypto pimps that want to line their own pockets.

POW is where the majority of coins are issued (people seem to forget and neglect that with decred, very foolish).
People should firstly and mainly take part in POW mining, otherwise POW mined coins can be dumped by one entity.
A fair and decentralized issuance of coins is then only an illusion (even with tickets).

Block security (hashing power) is very important as is a decentralized issuance.

New Bitmain high efficiency products are available. People should embrace this!
Tickets while also very important are only a small part of each block.
