Has there been any kind of update for the frozen status on polo? Twitter and all has been quiet on both sides and they are not answering peoples replies.

It's really odd to me my ticket with Polo has been open without reply for over a week. I'm at a loss for what to do. The wallet is disabled and trading is frozen. And I can't even get an explanation as to why this has happened. Is it something EMC2 developers have done to cause this?  I've lost a lot of money on this I could have been trading other coins.

maybe, just maybe you saved the money...

I noticed that the buy support has really dropped off Polo - will be interesting to see what happens when the coin is no longer frozen

On Bittex the wallet is now blocked and they are speaking of a double spend attack and they are trying to sort it out with the devs.

The team contacted them with the updated code. This notice should be removed soon.

6 days have passed and they didn't remove it.

They agreed to update the code on july 7th.

That's very good news! Even though they may have some little problems with the calendar Wink

Our precious little chain is still experiencing the same problem - suprnova pools. "hopper" numbers show similar numbers equivalent to 10 pc. Antminer L3+ operated by one user, the account name is "anonymous" now, so only admins can extract details. The pool owner is active on the board but not reacting to any approach of contact.

Personally I can't see any reason for this behaviour, that's why it's time to ask the community. How could we possibly get over this?

I'm open for any suggestions from 95% attack to an UASF, whatever is legal, let's brainstorm.

let keep moving forward ...

with bittrex / poloniex - that is out of our hands ... but the development and progression IS in our hands ...

ive always said it - and will continue to ... keep moving forward ...

this forward progression WILL commit users worldwide to open their wallets again - and miners to mine again ... whatever hashrate this one person / entity ( could be nicehash for all we know ) has - wil not have a chance against ALL the users / miners in the world hopping on the emc2 train ...

forward progression is the only way ... and im NOT saying turn a blind eye to this - as it is a real threat ... BUT - we can do NOTHING about it unless we spend millions of dollars on a farm just for this ... who has that cash on them now? ...

concern is one thing - worry is another ...

i am concerned - but worry is not for me - with the amount of workload that i personally have - let alone CWI as a company ... you too michael ... stop worrying too much about this ... your ideas that have been brought to the table are SO well received - that things are moving in a positive direction again ... we all as a team can not mitigate this issue from happening - but as a community - well thats a force to be reckoned with ...

it WILL happen ... just keep progression with our developments moving forward ... and this will be a thing of the past mate ...

what needs to be implemented - must be implemented - simple ...

To be successful, at some point, you have to ignore all the noise and BS and focus on the goal only. Sounds like you understand that well, rock on!

This silence is not so nice. Why has it be frozen on Polo for a few days already?

We answered a lot of questions about Polo, we're waiting for an answer about the reason why they froze EMC2.

Bittrex problem is solved with the new release(in beta).

If a problem happen, the team work to solve it.

prolly cause you never paid your promoters what you owe ? lol   :\  hmmmm

That was me not paying (kinda managed to forget after so many months).

After spending:
- 1,055,755 on giveaways
- 1,350,000 developers funds
- 450,000 "special funding" aka Mr. S

Apologies. Gap would have been filled, but frozen atm.

I don't know how to feel just now ... on one hand, I did warn something like this would happen if things go slow again.
On the other, I know we have capable developers now to fix almost everything and this experience is necessary in crypto.

we believe in youes brah :-D  ~someday over the rainbowwww(((

These papers can be represented as some kind of news

The fact that coin has the real company with the legal representation raises the credibility for some people.

This one went out as our pool (pool.emc2.foundation) newsletter, here again to reach the community:

Hello fellow miners,

Some of you might have experienced some issues recently showing "bad pool luck" and connectivity issues. I have to report that most of them have been caused by myself because I was helping a valued member of our community to set up his EMC2 pool and there for having my devices dropping in and out frequently so some attack prevention kicked in.
After recognising this I have of course stopped that behaviour and took the opportunity to add another step of security by adding more designated and isolated mining nodes to the server which are talking to the outside world via main and backup gateway wallets.

SSL Certificate expired today as well, it is renewed by the time of this writing.

Another VERY IMPORTANT thing needs to be published as well:

Early this week our official new wallet has gone public. It contains crucial security updates as well as new features. In order to get those activated, we need strong support from all miners. Not all pools are supporting those updates yet, the first one supporting was ours followed by Hash2Coins and the CWI pool. We are waiting for Suprnova and some unidentified miners now.
If you are mining SOLO or on any other pool, please kindly make sure to use the new wallet code. For pools this can be verified by checking a mined block on the blockchain explorer. If the block version is 2, the pool is using old code and there for preventing the security updates.

So long Happy Mining,
Michael
