In Bter API method 'placeorder' gives wrong 'order_id'. Also in 'placeorder' method there is some magic with the 'rate' and 'amount' parameters. I want to buy 'amount' of coins but exchange always sell me more than requested 'amount', according to formula:
((('rate' - lowest_ask) / lowest_ask) + 1) * 'amount'

... strange !!!

I've also had lots of problems with their api these last few days.

Since the method 'placeorder' now gives the wrong order_id I had to get the real order_id from 'orderlist'.

Then randomly when I use 'placeorder' it returns true but just doesn't actually place the order and 'orderlist' shows nothing.

I've taken my bot offline as it just can't cope with this erratic behaviour, by the time I actually make a successful order the books have changed dramatically especially throughout today with the price being so volatile.

I've emailed support and admin with no response yet.

Forget new coins, fix the software so coins aren't lost on withdraw about 10-15% of the time (yes it is that high in my experience) with no response from support at all, even when the support email is written in Chinese.

Do not use this site until the fix their software and provide at least minimal support to recover coins lost due to software errors.
