Well they've certainly done their dash with me (a user from the start). still had no resolution from lost btc, xpm, and buk from many days ago, just generic replies that its been resolved.

Errors fair enough but no resolution and just closing tickets as if there was.

What also concerns me I have rather complex trading and a wide portfolio, but I am very use to managing such (as irl I'm a pro trader), and I've matched up odds and ends that are missing, so how many are missing coins they've not noticed?

Yep. Now i need to buy.. mmm a lot of cp's.
Vern&John mistakes lead to user losses. Thanx again. To withdraw all that is stuck here i need to spend more than a half of btc.
Users must pay for calculation mistakes. Users must pay for bad trade engine.
No, thanx. When i finish with cp's i'm fully out. No more cryptsy for me, until they fix all that they have now and until they return their lost reputation.

I am worried that they discovered their Cryptsy Points calculation was wrong (i.e. they were depositing too many Cryptsy Points into accounts).

The more I think about it, the more likely I think this is.

Based on https://www.cryptsy.com/users/cryptsypoints:

Quote
How Many Points Will I Earn?

Each point has a reward value of 0.001 BTC. You will earn points based on 4% of the trade fees collected on your account. You will also earn points based on 1% of the trade fees collected from your referrals.

So lets say you paid out 0.1 BTC in trade fees in a given day and you had 10 referred users which also paid 0.1 BTC in trade fees each on that day.

Points Earned Directly     4 CP
Points Earned from Referrals     10 CP
Total Points Earned that Day     14 CP

40 CP corresponds to 1BTC in trade fees, or a turnover on an account of roughly 400 BTC, assuming an average trade fee of 0.25%. Scaling these numbers up to my account, I get what seems like a totally preposterous turnover, which suggests something is amiss. If there's a mistake in the above calculation, someone please point it out!

Every Cryptsy point I ever earned has been removed and now I have negative Cryptsy points. So I have to actually buy some... yes... to be able
to withdraw.

edit - ha... Breaking news Cryptsy points up 20%. I kid you not - go check.

So they audited my account and gave me a negative balance on a coin I haven't traded in almost two months. I ended up buying the coin just to have a zero balance so I could pull my coins out. I've tried to be patient with all the issues that have been going on for the past month or so, but now it's becoming too frequent and I just wanted to get out. Hopefully all my withdrawals go through without a hitch so I can move on to a more stable exchange.

I am worried that they discovered their Cryptsy Points calculation was wrong (i.e. they were depositing too many Cryptsy Points into accounts), have now retroactively fixed it, and this is going to leave everyone who sold Cryptsy Points holding a massive debt that's about to explode in value with a massive reduction in the Cryptsy Points supply.

I am just glad that I already got my funds out. Are withdrawals blocked for accounts that have negative Cryptsy Points?

The points issue is not a usual 'negative coins' problem though - the historical deposits of Cryptsy Points appear to have been changed, and made much smaller, and so anyone who sold Cryptsy Points has a large negative balance.

I emptied out my account on the 17th, and now Cryptsy has decided that I have a negative balance.

Entz the points issue is being addressed right now should fix after this sitewide audit.

I'll hold off posting this ticket then. The points issue is not a usual 'negative coins' problem though - the historical deposits of Cryptsy Points appear to have been changed, and made much smaller, and so anyone who sold Cryptsy Points has a large negative balance.

You know those are fake tweets made in fun right? As far as the users who PM me I deal with as many tickets as I can and try to do them in order not really fair to process one ahead of someone who PM's me. 65000 users in 26 days were having growing pains. We will get past them.

For those with CAPTCHA complaints it was implemented for good reason. Make sure your not running an adblocker and try refreshing it once before you enter it. We should have that fixed soon.

Ok back to tickets with me.

That's great, it addresses one concern.

What about listing SXC against BTC. By about any measure, development, merchants, hashpower, market value it's a solid performer.

Once we sort load out its worth taking into consideration.

Thank you, neither of us have the time to muck around. I appreciate your position. Mine is that SXC has leaked to the porn industry and they see it as a completely developed payment system, and while cryptogeeks might not appreciate the business model and snigger at the name, we have had an overwhelming response from outside the community, some very serious and determined to drive SXC to the next level by honest developing, others looking to get in on the money train for a free ride.

I also appreciate SXC, unlike so many altcoins had to prove itself, and that has been a big advantage. Not only do we have a team, but it has had to concentrate on what makes an altcoin successful. In fact we've had requests to "fix" other coins,. I hope you can appreciate SXC has performed in an outstanding manner under difficult conditions.

I personally think that SXC will emerge as a major alt, and the question is no longer if, but when. I won't bore you with details, unless you request them out of curiosity, or as part of your considerations.

Back to herding cats...

**Update**

I finally got a PM from BITJON, and he stated that I double spent DOGE and that is what made my balance go negative, and that I should sell some of my other coins to bring it back to 0.

So I politely provided him with the transaction number showing that the amount I have in there, is the amount I sent their thru my wallet as I have never traded DOGE. (**Edited since I just saw the post about the cryptsy points being Houdini'd <---disappearing act)

So whoever zero'd out my cryptsy points, A. you were wrong for doing so B. I did not double trade C. Please return ALL my coins to me. I was told it would be done by this morning.

And Bitjohn, I completely agree with fairness and going in order, however, when you Mullick specifically states to PM him and he will handle it, and then you respond and state you will have it done by the morning at the latest.... and now its evening and I am missing even more coins, I think you would have to agree that I was not trying to "skip" over people. But a ticket from 4 day ago is still not answered either means you guys have no intentions on fixing it, or you have that many people with problems (which is also scary that in 4 days my ticket is still not resolved).

And I would have to agree with what others are saying.... why is cryptsy adding all these new coins, when their system isn't currently functioning properly?

I have been polite throughout this debacle, but come on, enough is enough. Please return all the coins that are owed to me.
