it's a great app, but i have a question , why should i pay for calls while there are a lot of programs i can use for free ? what is you edge here ?
well, just try to call someone really popular over the Skype and you'll see where's the edge we're touching :-)
We're simply making an incentive for answering these calls by experts and to publish their direct call links.

there'll be reputation system built in. Experts usually don't like using their time and reputation on lingering and prefer to focus on something more productive.

One thing I love so much is that experty is creating an environment where one will be able to package and manage his information through calls, post and generate instant revenue. This is highly innovative as it is bringing relief into wages. The freedom and time it offer will make it highly competitive. No doubt this will be a huge project.
Well this is a good project and will be accepted guickly but looking at your demonstration video and reading some of your write ups got me thinking, what are your plans to bring this project in countries in Africa since we are not that advanced in terms of technology yet? Were we put into consideration or your targets were the already developed countries. If indeed you want to make it a globally accepted innovation then u need to add us to your plans because we are part of the globe too. I really would love to know your plans.. About Africa as a continent.
All you need to use our app and monetize your knowledge is to have a smartphone connected to internet, and most of people even in Africa already have one.
Doing project on cryptocurrencies is avoiding banking and there're problems with it in some countries.
Since the application is global everyone can use it and people from Africa usually will be more competitive when it comes to prices comparing to US or EU professionals.

Seen this type of business on the web & think that there is one major point in that the 'expert' appointed must be a true 'expert' in the field . For example, a Lawyer asked a technical issue of law in the Country you reside in must be able to fully understand your question & the 'background ' of the question. It is very difficult to satisfy someone via a short 'conversation' or text if the subset of the question is not in the area of expertize.
A second point is how can you be satisfied with your 'experts' unless there is a considerable amount of vetting & monitoring. All this takes time & who pays for that time. A busy 'expert' in their own profession would not be interested, yet the is the type of person you want. Someone with time on their hands may not be a worthwhile expert.

This is the reason we're not building marketplace but want to integrate with other marketplaces. We believe one team cannot focus on evaluating every business out there and create good software the same time. Some company will have 'doctors' other will have lawyers etc.
Ofc there's also an option to use without any marketplace - just share your profile on your blog/website etc.
Regarding second point - there're 2 answers:
1. Simply busy expert can charge more :-) There's a saying that everyone has his price - $1000 / minute and you have incentive (ofc I don't think many people will charge this much - but we left the space open as well for celebrities - not only consultations)
2. Busy people often need to filter out their clients and this is perfect tool to do so. We've already made few partnerships and this is especially the case where companies see the potential (MME and BitcoinSuisse)

These are tokens planned for establishing partnerships with marketplaces and influencers to popularize the product.
These are locked for 18months so they cannot dump the price, and we believe that after that period the app will have enough premium features incentives so it's more worth holding than selling

Thats true that there're plenty of tokens, however there're plenty of scam projects as well. Many are just a clones of popular coins not really bringing anything new.
We're going to build a real company with real product and differ that way.

Could not agree with what you have said anymore. you are 100% right.
I know its hard to know who the holders are but mayb to what some new ico's are doing and to a proof of care form for airdrops. (proof of care as in they show knowledge and care for the project not just a quick buck)

Ive heard about experty.io and I believe that this project will be successful in the future. It would also be nice if you put in the 1st page where the coin is traded if ever it would be listed in exchanges. Thanks!

Do you have any plans for a centralized directory of the experts or will it be more akin to just putting an "experty" button on your website/bog/youtube channel/etc? Also, I am assuming that the experts can choose their own rates, but is there a minimum cost per minute to use the service?

The second option - we don't plan to build marketplace, however we're planning to partnership with other marketplaces.
So you will be able to open marketplace for doctors and use experty platform to handle paid call through it.
Experts can choose their rates. In current version there's flat minute rate in the roadmap we'll implement variable rate for example on different days/hours and during a call - so you can lets say make first 3 minutes cheaper and then more expensive (or the other way) etc.
There's no minimum cost per minute but recipient will need to pay eth gas for 2 transactions (couple cents currently)
