Exactly. There is about 35 or so MH on the P2Pools right now, it would be nice to see it around 100 for some nice steady payouts. But the difficulty seems to be going down and they have pulled in 5 or so blocks in the last few hours.

You need to use stratum+tcp (not http, that's the web server):

should be working now. Tested myself and it actually was really slow at start, now it's working fine.

I can never get p2p pools to work. my cgminer just crashes.
