Win64 unzipper
SEEMS like it works fine, but I'm telling you, it doesn't. You need to use 7zip (or something else).
Well may hat off to you sir, i did download 7zip and unziped it, loaded up and 3 weeks behind
hopefully it will sync now
Thanks

No problem, I had the same exact issue a while ago, and domob, or snailbrain, or bgb or someone helped me figuring it out. You can kind of tell I think because when you use the built in windows unzipper, then the unzipped files come out to be smaller than the archive that you're extracting them from, but it's not something you would normally consider. I mean, why the fuck can't the windows built in unzipper handle large files? Wtf Balmer?
Apparently they were slightly too drunk/sober when they implemented that feature:
https://xkcd.com/323/yes i was that one
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10623461was a nasty bug, we should clearly state somewhere about that because it's a problem, as you say, that can go unnoticed if you don't match the size of the expeted size of file while into the zip archive, and the real size of the extracted file
P.S.
I'll update my client in order to update it according to current game changes, as soon as I'll have time,anyway in time for the future planned fork, when the fork date will be set
I've just launched original betatest qt clients, and i see that actually isn't possible to easy spot where banks are, so I'll use some graphics to show easily where the bank is (maybe a treasure chest) and other useful info like banks life
From some time I'm keeping opinions about the game changes for myself and just support the community with new versions of the client, if people show interest in it
I've to admit that actually I'm not following much the coin, I'm not playing at all from a couple of month and not real improvements on the client because of the coin lack of interest, but i'm leaving my nodes(2) running and the realtime chat server operative (i've spent around 300 € last year and no one used it except me and other 2 or 3 users, i feel a patron
)
If things will change I'll be probably again more active on the development side of my client (and ecosystem around like phone alerts, etc..)
