I closed my 1.5 wallet and tried to reopen it, because it was hanging up a lot, and now it refuses to open. It sits with a whited-out logo box for a while, then tells me the program has stopped working and is closing (win7). I don't understand why it would work fine, I would close it to reopen and suddenly it's broke. 1.4 still loads, but won't sync and says "Chronon 55000000"....any ideas?

edit: got huntercoin open again. Just says I'm not connected to the network, and out of sync. It's not starting to synchronize though.
upgrade to 1.00.05
delete everything in datadir except wallet.dat and huntercoin.conf
make sure have the addnodes from OP
I downloaded 1.00.05, not syncing though. I don't see huntercoin.conf when I go appdata>>roaming>>huntercoin, is that the problem? Also dont understand the addnodes at all. I can even see all the transaction I had made in the game, just wont sync up.

You need to create the huntercoin.conf file, it does not exist on install. Go to your appdata>>roaming>>huntercoin folder and create a new text file.
Paste the following in:
addnode=192.241.222.65
addnode=192.81.209.210
addnode=178.32.31.41
printtoconsole=1
And save the file as huntercoin.conf (make sure it is not huntercoin.conf.txt).
Okay thanks a lot, got the .conf file in now. Still just no connection to the network though. Any fix for that?
check your firewall settings
my firewall settings? I had been playing this for days with no problem until last night, I don't think any settings have changed since then?
and there is no messages on the screen - "warning"?
not sure otherwise ..
what block are you on
no warnings or anything, everything is normal just not getting synced. It's on block zero...

I hope to finally be able to play huntercoin tonight. I have a few questions. What are the spawn points where I am to return coins to extract them into my wallet? Will the be evident on the map? How large are they? Will I automatically extract any coins I have if I walk over one?
Also, can I only blow up characters of colours other than my own? If so, I suppose is a good idea to pick a character colour different from that of the person who currently holds the crown, or the character colour that appears to hold the most collective wealth.
Are people forming guilds or working together in any way yet?

They're in the 4 corners of the map. Just make sure to not leave your general there like I did accidentally (you die after 30 blocks). The spawn points are the thin strips with your colour. You pick up coins by standing on them. I haven't tried destruct yet, but my understanding is that you can only blow up other colours. I haven't seen any guilds but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some.

ffs you are probably better off not touching anything if you don't know what you are doing...
if you are feeling brave, in win7 (and vista & 8?), your wallet.dat is located in C:/users/YOUR_USER_NAME/AppData/Roaming/Huntercoin
The folder AppData is hidden.
If this is the only cryptocoin you have on the computer you could always just search your pc for 'wallet.dat'
