Having installed and intermittently played this game over the past day, I'd thought I'd provide a couple initial impressions from a newcomer.
Firstly, excellent work. From what I could discern, no egregious bugs and worked as intended and while I could not see myself spending a large portion of my day immersed in this, it was certainly enjoyable in short bursts.
I would however describe this experience as more akin to gambling than human mining. The risk/reward element of having 200 hucs tied to a character necessitates constant monitoring, which is a prohibitive factor that will ultimately prevent a substantial number of people from playing.
My suggestion would be to have a secondary character class immune to attacks that is itself unable to attack, that just walks around collecting coins. This would allow people like myself the ability to play for a few minutes a day without the threat of losses exceeding gains. Call them gatherers and maybe tie 1500 coins to each individual character to limit their footprint on the map. Not only would this generate new user interest, but would likely drive the price up considerably.

Now if those skilled chinese player guys come in, they will earn 2-3 BTC/ day guaranteed, because they are very disciplined and good at gaming.
So imagine if 1000 chinese guys just come in and extract 1 btc/day each, the price will collapse in notime lol.

There's a fundamental economic mistake here: The total amount of coins distributed per day is fixed, just as it is with Bitcoin. The only way why someone can actually earn so many coins in a day is because noone else is competing at the moment. As soon as more people (from China or somewhere else) start to do that, each one automatically gets less.
as an addition to this:
14400 coins are generated each day.
This will halve after approx 4 years (from Feb 2014).
Human mining is probably the next big step in cryptocurrency.
NGOs spend billions distributing survival sustenance to a lot of people who would need no help if they could earn us$1 per day.
Pretty soon a lot of aid will be delivered through a process that is a variation of mining something like huntercoin.
This coin might or might not be a key player eventually in providing income and other things in the third world, but at the least it serves as a template for the next generation of ethical mining coins. Wherever huc fits in the process, it will get a lot of good publicity for being an original human mined coin and for that alone it is a good investment.
Thousands of altcoins followed bitcoin, but only a few lead and huc is one of them.
When a huge number of people start mining human mineable coins the conventional variables used to assess the value of a coin will change.

Now if those skilled chinese player guys come in, they will earn 2-3 BTC/ day guaranteed, because they are very disciplined and good at gaming.
So imagine if 1000 chinese guys just come in and extract 1 btc/day each, the price will collapse in notime lol.
I dont think its a good investment , yet.

got another question, when someone says have 600 huchs hps and someone has 400 huchs when one destructs on the other does it do 200 damage or there total hucs hps damage?
Reason i am asking i downed 2 players upped my hps to 600 attacked 2 players both with 200 hps each(1 tile from each other).. and some how or another down 1 and the other player gained 200 hps and then attacked me lowering my hps down to 400 and his to 600 and then attack me again and i lost.. how is that even possible?

If I understood above two correctly, and the rest of game logic, all a player must do to completely dominate the map is to kill-kill-kill until his health points are so high no single player or no group can kill him. There is no need to bank ever because even if disaster strikes player will get all coins in his wallet. If everything written is correct, there should be a cap on total amount of coins player can have, with ability to use destruct disabled upon reaching that cap (else player can continue killing everyone and use his other characters to pick coins).
you can only pickup 100 coins max (cap).
as for lifesteal - it doesn't matter if your hunter is worth 1000. I've took 400 HUCs from someone worth 400 - so i was then worth 600. You probably want to bank eventually (rather than wait for a disaster), as you don't want to leave your hunter on the map when you are afk, especially when players spawn in random locations on the map.
If you have the Crown of Fortune you have unlimited Cap to pickup coins.

Pretty hard to play this game if you have to download 50 gb of blockchain parallel to it, but anyway i tweeted it, lets see more support:

It's only 12 GiB of blockchain (8 GiB when using the compressed version on chain.huntercoin.org). But yes, I agree that this is still very inconvenient.
I hold like 20 different cryptos on my PC its very inconvenient to download the blockchain for all of them. It's easier for more established coins to just create lightweight wallets to let us try out.
While new coins which has less than 3 GB are lets say acceptable.
Agree that the blockchain is too big. Probably the best coin investment there is, alongside Maza, but some people are put off by the heavy chain.
The devs have made a cool project though and when HUC catches fire it will be popular.

edit: disregard this. While the cryptsy wallet is currently down, I was able to receive funds from poloniex.
just picked up several hundred on cryptsy to give this a shot, however it seems their wallet is currently offline so I am unable to proceed. If anyone is willing to provide the minimum required to start a character I will return the balance once cryptsy resolves their issue or i've amassed enough in game to do so. Sparsely playing today i made around 3.5k HUCs - mostly from PvP and stealing the Crown of Fortune (apologies jokowi/dodol/batman whomever you are) - using the Unity client and alarms for when someone was near - on my laptop at a friends, vpn'd to my home network with the daemon running.
14400 coins are generated each day, atm it's pretty fair game - although be wary of combat - takes some getting used to and also needs some additional tweaks/addons at the next hardfork to make it more skill based and fun.. although there is a "knack" to it still atm.

p.s. if you are using the free Unity3d Client - i noticed a bug which sometimes can occur when one of your player dies - some of your players may disappear from the right hand column but will still display on the map with an arrow. As a precautionary measure until it's fixed, i recommend restarting the unity client if any of your players die.

got to ask, whats with the little icon on the bottom middle of the game (unity 3d client) it has a white check box and pic of toon running or something.. what does it do?

Hi Icon,
this is mostly for android so you can do "click click click waypoints", as there is no control key.
Also can be used for playing on a windows tablet - maybe.. (not tried)

block chain size is about 11gb atm when nameindex is pruned (has been done in the chain.huntercoin.org download).
it was about 11gb this time last year if i remember correctly - we made some changes which helped reduce chain growth considerably - including - fees per move, increase in general cost, disasters and probably others.

8~12 GB is what was said before (8 GB compressed, 12 GB uncompressed, if i recall correctly).
