So in this case, people can use multiple Stingminer? I dont know how effective it will be, but just for curiosity I want to know. I think only BitFence team can clear this doubt

After the ICO ends on the same day, I do not think there will join many new investors. but it can be that the ICO will be extended. That's what many are doing right now

Most projects are fund of extending their token sale period and that's what i perceive might happen with Bitfence. Once they are able to release the mvp and sting miner they might assume that with 2 working products they will get more participants.

That's mean we can expect from the Bitfence team, ICO last date will be not extend. Let's see what happens after the four days.

Fingers crossed it remains the same and the StingMiner does the project well with the release - hopefully will be an impressive system , cant wait to download the software

Less than four days are remains to close sale. Their target in softcap was 2000 ETH and in hardcap is 65k ETH. Are they achieved their targets? How many ETH they received in hardcap? There is information about that.

What I know is that, softcap reached long back. And they have raised more money than minimum requirement, and now product (stingminer) is also ready.

When they will update final amount which is they received from investors and sold tokens? Only 3 days are remains and what will they do with unsold tokens?

I actually agree with you. There is no way to remove all the hackers from our world. While security companies are improving the hackers are also improving themselves. It looks like a endless war, but we could make it harder for them

Exactly. We cannot remove hackers from world. But Bitfence have given the option, protect our systems/network from hackers. And they will be always improve their technology everytime.

yeah, I have been asking similar questions I really don't know why the US can't participate and also why is it that more blockchain startups are from the east what happened to the west

US citizens are prohibited from participating in ICO‘s. The SEC want to „protect“ them for losing money in those high risk investments.

In a way the sec has got their interest in mind but they are surely missing out on opportunities to be part of some great projects out there.

But I have seen some projects who's developer are from the US. And they also have the most visits to some crypto websites. I wonder how they do it. The SEC should reconsider the decision though.

You are right, mate. I have seen some projects, where most of the team members are from the US, but mostly the business location is in asia. I don't know what the SEC want to protect, the US citizens or the projects. Grin

Is not really possible to totally eradicate the issues of hacking but the whole process of this project is to create a much better and safer way of doing things and with time, they may likely morph to become something formidable, is a project that wants to create a much better means of protecting our devices and private data in a much unique way

As long as technology exists, there will be people trying to exploit it for gain lol, there will never not be hackers or malicious users. Bitfence will hopefully be a part of the solution to protecting your network from them.

That is the amazing part with Bitfence we can secure the future by knowing how the hackers are doing it and preventing that from happening.

It's actually crazy that there is only 5 days of the token sale left, I have been following the Bitfence project for a long time and I'm really looking forward to seeing how much they have raised.

I think after the World Blockchain Forum speech they will have raised the majority of their funding.

Running multiple StingMiners increases your earnings, they have a strategic plan in place and are seeing to it success, I really hope they do tbh we're long overdue in the need for security in the blockchain

Why would they limit the stingminers per user. That would be not cool. Great to hear that you can use multiple stingminers, and earn extra from it. How much electricity will the stingminers use ?

From what i learnt the StingMiner will be economical with power consumption, looking at its build shows a lot of economics was put in place already same for power too

From my understanding it's limited to one per public IP address, so you couldn't have 100 for one public IP. So if you use a proxy for external access etc, you might not be able to do so.

And that's one intriguing thing about this project when it comes to the security measures that they intend to implement, the IP address per individual is really necessary, is a security project, so any loophole that will lead to a security breach need to be covered and i believe they got the best hands in the business to actually fix issues that may arise

IP can be used a measure to combat mis use of the stingminer but I think there are more majors to base on the IP alone would not be effective since IP can easily be changed and played around with.

Good question friend. That we need to check with their technical team. But as per my knowledge if they will be place in public network so definitely they will be use one IP for one device.
