Guys, the tablet photos have already appeared on the Internet. Is this really true? Is the tablet already designed?

I`m just checking their site, somehow I found the answer to the question 'what does "protected tablet" means' that was asked earlier in the topic.

Quoting the site:

Quote
The tablet complies with all the requirements that apply to a marine navigation computer: it is dust and water resistant, has a highly contrast display that makes working in the bright sun a breeze (we also have a liquid ink modification), crash resistant, has a high capacity battery, has hardware buttons, and includes the highly developed BoatPilot chartplotter and BoatGod module support.

So it indeed is all about physical protection, as simple as that.

Guys, do I understand correctly that in the BoatPilot app there are not all maps yet? I'm interested in the Mediterranean .. Can I fully use the application in this region?

As far as I know, the Mediterranean map is already there and it is fully functional. Try to look in the app.

It seems to me that the developers do not spend much time on their Navy token, but have gone deeper into the functionality and design of the application. It could have bad consequences. Do you think I'm right?

Seems like you`re right. But remember, NAVY is a utility token with functionality tied to Pocket Skipper.
Once it`s released it will have much more volatility and usage.

I agree! We are constantly forgetting about Pocket Skipper , and this is also an important part of the project. I wonder when we can see this?

Due to be released in Q2 2018, still not here. My pessimistic bet is on Q2 2019.

AFAIK Mediterranean is the only region available at the moment.
You can download the app and check for yourself.

The site States that, BoatPilot has free maps of European waterways and is currently working on the inclusion of North American territory. You know what I like most about the BoatPilot service?
That Active skippers and yachting enthusiasts contribute by adding thousands of new points and adjustments to schedules, thus creating the most complete and modern marine navigation product on the market.

Adoption Blockchain e-Commerce to World
I like the fact that geo-data and information will be constantly updated thanks to users. I think this is a great idea and it will always allow you to receive relevant information.

That`s actually the main point of attraction for me, really nice idea.
Apart from AR feature, of course.
Yes I agree, I also liked this project, thanks to the users we can get all the information we need here, in addition they also provide application that could make it easier for its users.

Why did you choose BoatGod and not some other system?

Technically nobody chose BoatGod, it is just a hardware component You are speaking about BoatPilot for sure.
But to the point: I believe in future this project will be a huge one. Even if token fails, it has great potential just as a marine navigator - its user orientation and unique features give it an opportunity to find its niche in the market.

I have such a question .. What do you think, if I don`t have a BoatGod, but i have a BoatPilot app, and I report any geodata, I will receive Navy bonus tokens for providing information?

I think you will be able to receive Navy tokens. After all, you bring useful information to the boatpilot project, which must be paid.

I found the information that without the BoatGod you will not get Navy tokens!! I think this is done on purpose so that people also buy a BoatGod.

Hmm, I assumed so. But in general this is logical. It is more profitable for the project to encourage users of the full package of services.

To be honest, it doesn't upset me at all. In any case, I will buy the boxed version, because I really need BoatGod. I think people who are seriously engaged in yachting will understand me.

Why did you choose BoatGod and not some other system?

Because I like its versatility and user orientation. I'm sick of being tied to one software because companies want to make as much money as possible.
I believe that BP meets all the needs of modern private yachting and is just easy to use.
I am also interested in the blockchain technology, and I think Navy tokens are a great idea.

I agree. Almost all modern navigators have switched from professional trading and military fleet platforms. The private yacht has its own nuances and needs. Therefore, I want to see the navigator oriented to the average user.

Yes and no. I think it`s easier from hardware point of view: you make a separate module instead of overloading your main device.
