Pro tip:

They seem to have a rather wealthy bounty program, and an airdrop. So get your tokens for free

True  their bounty is quite good, would be shame to miss that.

Can IVEP distinguish real from fake views on a video?

good question. They mention something about the problem with fake views and fake profiles in one of the first chapters in the whitepaper, but I missed where they have a more detailed explanation on this. Anybody else seen this?

Interesting Project It looks like ALL star team is behind it, good work

What do you base your opinion on?

Probably not just the team but the advisors as well, the whole package.

Maybe some additional investors are brought in to fill the gap?

Hah, if they can bring investors just like that, then they would fill the hardcap on day 1

well maybe not just like that as you put it, but it could be that additional investors are attracted to the idea as the project moves on. As we see they have more to come so as the project goes further and attracts some hype, additional investors are attracted to it. Again, it might not be like that on this project but it's not that far-fetched.

What happens if the soft cap isn't reached?

Maybe some additional investors are brought in to fill the gap?

Yeah this is serious project, and i doubt this would happen, but even if it did, when you have quality team, you just keep working even harder and you continue till next sale.

Hard work usually pays off.

Based on the interviews, I think (especially what I've heard from previous endeavors like dubcandy) that the team is solid and already has successful projects behind them.
I'm interested to see where this goes because it is quite interesting from a technological perspective and not to mention that it actually ups the game for the content creation.

The current advertising or marketing business, whatever you wanna call it, is to intrusive and annoying...so there just has to be a technology that will enable content creators to provide "points of interest" when you're watching a video.

Exactly, something has to be done, bith from consumer pov,and advertising,as in current sitiation, both sides are loosing. So Hopefully IVEP can be solution to that.

I agree...it's like if you're watching a video and for example see a guy drinking a beer and if you want to know what beer he's drinking, you're gonna click it. However IVEP could make possible that this kind of action doesn't require some annoying square or some shit to be outlined around the beer, but rather it could be blended in within the video.

What pops to mind is how VR games have that sorted out, by simply hovering above the desired item and then highlighting it, without being intrusive, letting you pick what you want for yourself. I honestly don't know if the tech part is there yet, but it sounds kinda fun.
