It will drop more over the next 1-2 years I think. The generation 2 Playstation VR + Camera + VR Worlds (Game) you can get for 325€ now on Amazon in Germany. Not sure what the changes to generation 1 are, but I think 325€ is quite a good price now and I think it will drop under 300€ this year hopefully.
Same will probably happen with Occulus Rift, at least to somewhere between 350-400€.

luckily you won't need VR glasses to use mark.space , it's still too expensive at this point.
For crypto people, its not expensive at all, they can even get much more than that from bounty.

That's true but for VR to become mainstream the average guy must be able to afford some VR device.

The question is: When would you say it is cheap enough that the average guy can afford it? I mean, a lot of people have smartphones that cost way more than 300€ and still smartphones are mainstream.

You are right about the price. Current vr projects problem is not price. Cables and everything. Also, content is very limited but it is getting more content every day.

Give it 2 years!

I wonder if we'll eventually be able to walk around freely or we stick with clicking. How do you walk in VR anyway?

unfortunately it is still necessary to make use of the hardware to move on the platform, surely the continuous work of Time or its partners, will be able to provide in the near future new ways of getting around in the virtual, in a more sophisticated and fast way, betting on it

Is it really possible that someone will be interested in buying or selling virtual real estate?
Come on, seriously?

There was a time when a game called Second Life did just that. If a platform can pivot it to a different and commercially viable virtual reality space like a marketplace, I think businesses will be willing to sign-up. What if Amazon goes 3D!!
There are many people ready to buy virtual stuff, and different ingame purchases (e.g. on the Steam platform ) constitute the lion part of any webgame profit nowadays.
yes, secondlife was a pioneer for the virtual worlds i hope crypto valley somehow follow in his footsteps, i think ingame purchases of virtual stuff is a major source of revenue for all vr/3d platforms

Why not. In a virtual home, you can meet more people where they can develop, or set the foundation for a secret project that they do not want to make public, business strategies, or can do anything else without being in attention of everyone .

Only about 12 hours left. I read some great news about it today and I think this will push this project a little and that they can achieve to get some more funds.

The more projects focused on VR, the cheaper the equipment will be. Now the main development of this industry!

More news from South Korea: Mark.Space announce a recent strategic partnership agreement with Bitman!  Cool

Do you have a link for this statement? I'm not really aware of Bitman
It seems to me an authentic and valuable service, but it would be really interesting to be able to follow this news officially, by Team, or at least a sharing link, I am providing support in social networks, and this is something to be disseminated on a large scale

Of course, this is the future. You just look at modern games. There for beautiful pictures pay money. Here the project shows an economic model. Many companies will create their own virtual stores. Many photographers can become popular thanks to Mark.Space. There are so many opportunities. It's only begining.
A recent incident with Crypto-kittens shows us that society is ready to pay a lot of money for intangible pictures. Virtual reality is only at early stage of evolution and there will be many unusual ideas in this segment, I'm sure.

It's not only crypto kitties lol, have you ever played with videogames where you can purchase items privately (RMT), I'm talking about diablo series, wow etc...

Descentraland already cautioned some of their virtual spaces, and vibe it on its way with virtual concerts and virtual schools, so yeah, a lot of new opportunities in the VR and AR markets, this along with decentral and Vibe, will moon at the end of the year.

It's all about the cryptocoins
I saw Markspace in coinomi wallet, its a good choice of promotion.
Really? Coinomi is a popular wallet. It will surely get more eyes on mark.space.
Looks like the marketing is doing good, there are MarkSpace promotions all over the place. Any news about exchange listing, the sale is almost over?
Indeed, they did a very nice job when it comes to marketing.. not to hard, not to soft... well distributed info & news.. just the way it should be Wink
