Wow, very nice pull on that 1A onyx.  Shocked

Edit: Is the 1A on the top right an error card, looks like it has yellow and purple lines through the card

Yeah it came like that out the pack
Welcome to the forum. Can we have a close up of that 1A error card.. looks interesting. Are those 2 MR6 cards on the bottom?

That 1A Onyx is only the third Onyx seen aside from the Saylor card on the Cardsmiths website making it a total of four that have been seen. That 1A Onyx really is very special. Big congratulations and welcome to the forum!

For those interested in live breaks.  They are doing the new Street Fighter cards and Currency:

Someone scored big on those three boxes. An Emerald MR4 and a base 1A. The gentlemen ripping weren't even sure what they were until the chat chimed in  Grin
They also said how Currency is blowing up now that Reddit got ahold of them. I think that's a fair statement.

Also someone on the livestream said that PSA is now grading the Cardsmiths Currency Series. Can this be confirmed? I have sent an Email to PSA asking if this was true as well and will report back when I receive a response.

Bitcoin collectables are the greatest kept secret in collecting. If you look at the appreciation in value over the last 10 years its probably a greater return then the tech industry. These cards will be no different then Casascius or Lealana. They have only been out 9 months and already the prices are crazy. Just wait my friends. Eventually these boxes will dry up. Thats when you see real price increase. My prediction is you wont even be able to find a refractor and a base card will cost hundreds.

Yeah I wonder how far into the 2,125 cases we are.

Dope, so 3-4 cases would be 288-384 packs (case has 48 boxes with 2 packs each). At 5 cards per pack that’s 1440-1920. So fair to say it’s rare…

Keep it simple. 1 every 3-4 cases is: 2125/~3.5 = ~607 total CFs. So there’s realistically 275 - 325 of each Cold Foil cards. That’s pretty rare considering there’s 2125 redemption cards. Roughly 1:336 chances per pack to pull a CF, wow! Thanks for the info Jupityr!

Well, the redemption codes are a different animal and not meant to be "rare" in the way that certain chase cards are, but I take your point.

Seeing some posts on Reddit about cardsmiths - GameStop has helped get the word out IMO

Absolutely, GameStop is the only reason I know about them. r/superetonk was buying them like crazy when GameStop started their buy 3 get 1 free deal last Sunday, averages to only $22.50 per box. I’m already ~40 boxes in 😂

Seeing a Facebook group and another subreddit popping up, maybe it’ll branch beyond this just this forum/eBay

Is there any new information on Cold Foil cards? What are the odds associated with them and how many are in circulation? I find it strange to not even list that information or publicly state any of this information.

Something had to be left to the imagination.  ;-)

They were a (very) last minute add to Series 1 and one generally shows up every 3-4 cases or so.
