You are correct the orange pill and Cardsmiths cards are 2 different products, so not a good comparison.
The only improvement that I can think of that would satisfy that community here, would be more transparency regarding the redemption funds.
If there really are more than 5 BTC in redemption cards and more than 20 ETH in redemptions, then it would be great to see the public address for the funds.
I am very surprised we haven't seen at least a 1 etc or BTC redemption yet, although it doesn't mean they don't exist
Oh, they definitely exist. I'd keep an eye on our Facebook page in the coming weeks. ;-)
Originally, we thought about making funding addresses public, but we've opted not to do that for a few reasons. For one thing, the BTC community tends to be very reactive any time funds move in or out of a wallet. So we didn't want any collective panicking over routine movements in or out of a particular wallet. Also, we felt it best to protect the anonymity of the addresses we are sending to out of respect for the receiver. Lastly, we don't keep all of our eggs in one basket, so there is no "one" account per se. Anyone who receives a payment can see where it comes from, but even up to now we've utilized more than one address.
I realize that will not be any comfort to those wanting full transparency, but we have to look at what is best on the whole.

My biggest suggestion (besides smaller print run) then would be better marketing… as I’ve spent easily a couple grand on these cards, am active in many Facebook groups, yet had zero clue you were on Facebook. I have seen your twitter - but have not seen any ads for these cards besides in there. I’d suggest attending bitcoin conferences and promoting them. Also - nobody at GameStop had any clue what I was talking about when I asked for them. I did talk a few people into buying them tho based on my enthusiasm.
I have collected a 4 full base sets now - 3 sent in and 1 keeper set. Full set of holos. And most of the way there on a crystal sparkle set. I will say a lot of people helped me get the cards I needed, some even gifted to me.
Aww and also have all of the custom ballet redemptions- should do all redemptions in a custom ballet as people collect ballets as well.
Cool cards - but I’m pretty maxed out with collecting them. Will continue to purchase the sparkles I need on the secondary market as ripping packs to complete that set would be extremely expensive
