Actually there's at least 2 reasons.

I've seen other projects where people put up a giant fake wall for the sole purpose of manipulating market.

@trollores: All other DEX that I know of have liquidity problem or no support for fiat trading pairs. idk any other project that has a DEX with liquidity providers combined with fiat-pegged assets.

Doesn't make sense to me unless they're trying to panic people into dumping. If they really wanted to sell, they would transfer to exchange in smaller chunks.

I think that is exchanger's KMD address to hold all KMD deposited there rather than address of one single bittrex traders. Trading platform used to hold all coins in one address and just deposit number on respective users account. However right now we can see a big dump happening on bittrex Angry

If you couldn't participate on komodo ICO than don't worry you can get komodo right now even at lower price (In terms of BTC) from exchanges directly. I am holding all KMD i got from ICO but still we haven't seen surge on price after being listed in bittrex. I will sell when it will be listed in polo Wink

Don't feel sorry for them because when they invested in ICO, btc was almost half the price.
So it is same whether you buy now or during ICO.

BTC investors invested in bitcoin, so calculate profit/loss must be in bitcoin, not fiat. Earning in fiat is not the excuse or placebo of bitcoin losses. If you keep bitcoin and didn't invest in KMD, no doubt you wouldn't lose any bitcoins.

I don't understand why some people will always refer to Whales when a price of a coin is dumping. In the case of Komodo the whales are the BTCD holder because they got free KMD at a ratio of 1BTCD to 50KMD what a deal

BTCD was 0.003 btc, so the price of BTCD swap was 6000 sat, it seems that BTCD swap whales will dump more, because the current price is still higher than their swap price. R.I.P. for ICO investors.

Originally BTCD was worth nothing, so BTCD holders that swapped are already infinity % up so can dump to 1 sat and still make a killing.
