It's cool. I know that. I haven't done anything yet, just looked at the kittehcoin-qt.exe ICON IN THE ZIP PACKAGE and it's dopey von smokerton which is WEIRD.
Windows for you. It caches the icon for the filename and can at times display the same icon even through binary (and icon) has been updated. OIC, didn't know it was a caching issue. Makes sense. I just didn't want to accidentally go backwards (and I know the community has been trying to move away from stoner cat) and was concerned the icon switch had been overlooked in that specific case. NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS... MOVE ALONG...
