let me tell you a little story... 
in the beginning there were 2 nyancoins...
The first (9-nyan) was started with no windows wallet at launch (linux instamine), and no binaries for pool and a premine of 10%.
The second nyan (k-nyan) came 10 minutes later with the message that they started the nyancoin idea but dropped it with the announcement of the launch of the 9-nyancoin, but the dev found the launch of 9-nyan very chaotic and launched k-nyan wich was ready with windows and linux wallet.
then the fight began... trolls here... our trolls there... interessest began to fade away... nethash dropped for 2 weeks between 4 and 20Mh (according difficulty).
then suddenly out of the blue the dev announced he teamed up with prguitarman (chris) the creator of nyancat and boom there was the interest again
the 9-nyan gave up and they turned into credits (they have now a problem that a new credit is launched or launching)
we flown a long time under the radar and now we are where we are.
that is the story of nyancoin in a nutshell

Tbh i would like to host another episode of the tappy nyan competition, but it would be nice to get it announced on the facebook page of nyancat.
I think if you PM the devs, they will definitely consider it. They respond once a day or so. Otherwise, once I get access to the nyancoin facebook, it will definitely go there.

Yup, I'm talking to the devs to get access to the nyancoin facebook page. Once I do, I'll make sure that's added. If you want it on the nyancat facebook page, please PM the devs, I'm sure they'll be happy to oblige.
Also, anyone who is unaware, there is still a 40,000 NYAN bounty to be spit by anyone who is making NYAN games, we have a lot of games already made but we are waiting for one of them to be tied to a faucet, anyone who helps with that will also get part of the bounty!

This is what I was trying to say before MR1200 randomly started attacking me. I was saying that we focused on building a large subreddit with a lot of people who are interested. Unfortunately this doesn't translate into value for the coin it appears. I was trying to get a discussion started on how we can get BTCtalk people more interested before he just derailed the whole conversation with personal accusations.
Fine, I'll try to phrase things in a more positive light. Unfortunately, sometimes in order to get people to actually pay attention, I have to point out hard facts (such as the trend for the price). Most of the time, this thread just sits there for hours with no posts, so I just want to get discussion going of any kind. At least that will get a bump to the top of the forum.

To get some exposure im hosting a tappy nyan competition free for everyone to enter. The competition currently has a 1k nyan prize and about 5 contestants. I would suggest that other people also start initiatives like this.

Also MR1200 I think you are confusing me complaining to me being proactive. Every time I post anything its been a suggestion for improving the coin. If you have issues with what I say, debate is exactly what im looking for. Discussion makes the community stronger.
Personally attacking me randomly however, is not productive for anyone.
I check this thread everyday and it's always you crying about something and just giving out negative energy. You put this huge dark cloud over this thread and complain how we can't get "investors". Excuse me if I don't like cheerleading for no reason. I am suggesting ideas for us to get more attention and I only recently started discussing investors at all (last couple days). I strongly believe in the potential of this coin (hence my large investment). However I like to focus on talk about improving it rather than blind cheerleading. If you were in my shoes and lost thousands of usd in the last weeks watching the price go down you'd probably not feel particularly like randomly being upbeat either.
I mined 650k early for the week. I invested like 6-7 BTC in to get the rest. I'm not interested in arguing with you. I will continue to ask the community for feedback on ideas to improve promotion and the coin, if you aren't interested in talking about substantial things, then I will just put you on ignore. You have a problem with my ideas, then we can discuss ideas. I won't waste any more time defending myself against your unwarranted personal attacks.
Edit: If you got an idea, please share it. I want all ideas to be on the table. What I don't want is people to be deluded about our situation. We did indeed lose a lot of our value in the last few weeks, and if you want to ignore that and pretend nothing has happened and keep going on the path we are going, then there's nothing more for us to talk about.
I will spend my time working with people who actually want to do something and spend effort to regain our value.
