www.nyancoin.orgI know some of you are frustrated with the implementation of KGW at block 67000 and want it sooner, but please be aware that when we implemented it we were smashing though blocks and wanted to give everyone at least a couple of days to update. Little did we know that a day later we would be added to Coinwarz. The dev team did not request to be on Coinwarz as we knew the negative impact it would have early on. Anyway, what's done is done and we will be better off from now on!
The 2 biggest things on our to-do list for the coming weeks are:
A Focus on ecommerceWe want to make it easy for merchants to start accepting nyancoins for goods and services. The Nyan Cat store trial went very well and the Nyancoin store will definitely kick things off soon in proving that nyancoin is a fun yet useful currency. We are aware that there are plenty of stores that accept cryptocurrency already and we do hope that we can get many of them to accept NYAN but we also want to bring in new merchants to crypto and convince them to accept nyancoins for their goods & services. Nyancoin has already introduced a lot of new people to the crypto world with our friendly and helpful community and we want to continue with that by bringing in new merchants.
Nyancoin FoundationOur very first crowd fund was a complete success! We have many charitable Nekonauts and by working together we can make a difference and help those in need. The Nyancoin Foundation is something that we feel strongly about and we have plenty of people that share the same feeling. I have already spoken to some community members that are willing to devote their time to help out and make it a success.

www.specialeffect.org.uk how does everyone feel about this for the next crowd fund? I'm quite sure a lot of us were gamers as a kid so we thought this charity would have a special connection with a lot of Nekonauts.
What do we ask from you?We need everyone that can help in any way they can! Nyancoin is very much a community project and we know that every Nekonaut has a special skill that they can help out with. Want to use your programming skills for a game or an app? How about some cool art? Or are you a writer? Or a social butterfly? Perhaps you have some unique ideas? Everyone can bring something to the table and if you can spare the time I'm sure you will feel very proud being part of the Nyancoin project!
