Let us leave Avalon team alone. As a customer I have asked a lot of questions which are unanswered also. Let them work. I am sure when they have to say something valuable they will do it. More or less "formally" speaking the original plan was to start shipping after CNY. Some of us might have Avalons before that but we have to leave them work in a first place.

I got this from the Avalon faq.
In the first sentence you wrote shipping 300 units will take 2 weeks, conservative estimated.
But right after this the promise to ship all before the end of Feb.
The difference is more than a month.
Can you be more clear about this ?

we said about this the day we announced this project back in september, 2012. too much trolling has lost valuable information, and fast pace development cycle has cause the neglect of websites as well, I'll be retiring that FAQ section in the one on the new site, which will be up to date. http://launch.avalon-asics.com

If bASIC resurrects I suppose the free market will do its thing. Free market not so good after all?If not, it may need to be set on something else.
Are the units rack-able? How tall are they, 4U, correct? What about the depth?

Is their any reason why the base price has gone up by $200 Unit Price: $1,499 from Unit Price: $1,299 on 2nd batch
Perhaps because the actual device specs exceed 66GH/s? (Speculation only of course)$1299 / 66 = $19.68
1499 / 19.68 = 76.16 GH/s
Coincidence that it is slightly above bASICs speed of 72Gh/s?
Anyway, it is only speculation.

Can you share a word about invoicing and avalon name printed inside. It will be great if you share how you will process the other queue. I am curious how you will manage the shipment order. It will be based on Type of Payment, Order number, Date of payment received or what?

Wow, payment on Jan 10 is really ridiculous! If I knew you were so generous, I would have pre-ordered.
To be fair, I think you have all the reasons to reject his payment. I suggest you to hold a lucky draw and the winners will buy those machines.

I have already informed you in the previous thread I am aware of this order and this will be taking cared of.
Since ultimately we are at fault for not closing your order after you failed to pay in 10 days as per Terms of Service you accepted when purchasing Avalon, I will be honoring your wire payment, but I am more than happy to issue you a refund if these terms are not satisfactory.
