Hello!!
I had 0.3 ZCL on my account and yesterday I changed auto exchange coin to music coin. Pushed all ZCL to auto exchange and now I see that there is no ZCL on my account, but have just about 100 music coins more, but should be added more than 500. Are they somewhere between exchange and miningpoolhub and comes in more packs or they just disappeared?
Username the same @miningpoolhub
Thank You for Your time!!
Edit. Sorry, see it converted to VTC mostly, the previous autoexchange coin, and all new mined to musiccoins. All good Smiley

Is ZCL pool going to become BTCP pool after hard fork?
And If we have ZCL in our MPH wallet do we get BTCP after hard fork?

I also asked myself this question, and I think so, but there is also this case of BTCP fork of BTC. Because BTCP is a Bitcoin fork and a Zclassic Fork.

Last time, MPH paid in BTG, but I think it would be more productive to put them on platforms that will accept the fork. however, it seems that Btrex has not added anything for months and many others are overwhelmed by the magnitude of global demand growth.
Cryptopia can be and one or two other altcoins tradding specialist, but the BTCP page does not seem to indicate much to this porpos and their Wallet BTCP is planned for in a few hours.

Patience and Frastrations

I plan to just move my ZClassic out of MPH when the new Zclassic wallet comes out on the 8th.  That way, I don't have to rely on MPH doing anything for me at all.
this!
And I'd recommend this for everybody, for every fork! Don't be lazy and rely on others

hi first i've heard of a fork...what coins should i be holding on to ? and when is the fork?

@miningpoolhub

Dr. Sir, please fix vardiff in Bitcoin Gold, Zcash, Zclassic & Zencash pools.
It is working badly, going difficulty too high, instead of stop when you get a few shares it goes up & up until you get no shares.
Also jumps up are higher than jumps down what increases de problem.
Or add fixed difficulty  Grin

EDIT - I am using "Equihash CPU&GPU Miner for NiceHash v0.5c" obtained from https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer HEAD commit  (b9900ff8e3c6f8e5a46af18db454f2a2082d9f46).

The miner you're using has not been updated to deal with the other Equihash coins, least of all, Bitcoin Gold.

Nicehash developed/supported/funded miners also don't work anywhere but on NiceHash, though there are older exceptions.

Use EWBF miner for Bitcoin Gold. You can set "--nofee" option.

Thanks, I downloaded the latest version of EWBF (0.3.4b) and ran with the '--fee 0' option, I assume this is equivalent to '--nofee'?

I'm mining using an Nvidia GPU and it seems Equihash based coins are consistently the #1 or #2 most profitable. I'd like to mine Equihash using Algo switch mining (port 17XXX) but I'm not thrilled about these closed source Equihash miners. Is everyone using EWBF/Claymore/DSTM? Is there really no good open source option that I could use for Equihash mining with the auto Equihash algo switch mining feature?

Thanks!

I hate spreadsheets. I suck at using the software.. I will be getting hold of my accountant this week and let everyone know what he says about it and if the irs is coming for us or big boys only this year.  I'm kinda in the middle. I have 18 cards right now and trying to get to 35 cards before july 1

In the us u have to write down every time u get paid and the current price of the coin. than when u pull the money out u have to pay cap gains on the difference. Under current 2018 irs law. I get 3-4 pay outs a week. That's a lot of work to have to look up all the info.

I'm just recording my payouts when MPH hits my threshold for autopayout.  So every .5 LTC it pays out to my wallet.  I then write down in a spreadsheet the .5 LTC payout and with the price of LTC that day.

Pretty simple.

And, honestly, I bet that is overkill.  So long as you record all your payouts and simply add them up at the end of the year and multiple by the current price, that is probably also good enough if ever questioned.  Its not like any of us are doing $10s of thousands of dollars a day in mining.

How hard is it to just record you payouts in a spreadsheet?  Pretty god damn easy to write down your payout amounts with the amount that your preferred payout coin is trading at on a daily/weekly basis.  Then just tally them up and the end of the year and you have your "income" from MPH.

I was talking for 2018. I'm not worried about 2017 since  I didn't make enough to report in 2017. just started setting everything up in December. The more I look at cointracking.info I'm hating how they made the software. Like I need to be accountant to use it. going to look at the bitcoin.tax software. They list mining so I like that part. One thing I wonder about it is they ask for the mining address but I use my cold wallet as my mining address. so if I do a normal move or input into the cold wallet its going to think its a mining income

U can no longer use hobby income. trump removed hobby income.  I have been setting up a cointracking account.  It really feels like they came out with laws before there was enough info or software to do the taxes right.

2017 taxes still follow all the old rules.  None of the "new" tax rules were made retro-active for CY 2017.

That information isn't published anywhere that I'm aware of.  Why don't you email them ?

Well... because on the pool main page you can read that :

Contact miningpoolhub email for private account verification, server error reports only. General questions should be asked on community and forum.

What is every one doing for the income taxes from mining on miningpoolhub? nicehash has csv files for all the income that u can input into tax software.

you can import/enter all your stuff to this site, bitcoin.tax, and it will help you figure out what to report. i just started at the end of 2017 and only mined like ~$250 worth of coin so i'm not going to report that. however if things go well in 2018 i'll have significantly more mined and will end up reporting that.

I'm reporting the BTC that comes out of the MPH "magic box" as hobby income (since I only mined for about 3 weeks in 2017).

Hash rate goes in, BTC comes out, same as if I was solo-mining @home.  I don't see a need to get any more detailed than that.

Ok, I'll try to clarify:

On this page: https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=home&normalize=nvidia
You can see the profitabily of each algo for NVIDIA cards. I assume that this is calculated by using the BTC/GH/Day ratio (you can find it here: https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=home&normalize=none ) and by adjusting this with a "profitability factor" for each algo. This profitability factor reflect the efficiency of nvidia cards for each algo. If you select AMD, the factor are obviously not the same.
So, my first question was: Is it possible to have the details of these ratios.
That information isn't published anywhere that I'm aware of.  Why don't you email them and ask?

Second questions:
With the yiimp base pool, you can use "tailor-made" ratios in order to make it perfectly adjusted to your specific rig. (for example, see here: http://pool.hashrefinery.com/site/multialgo )
Is there a similar option with MPH ?
No there is not.  You'd have to use something like Multi-pool Miner and tune the crap out of it.
