Anyone know if you can have a miner run as a scheduled task when the computer boots in windows 10 with the task scheduler?
not sure what miner you have.. but if you go to start.. then run.. type in shell:startup it will open a window.. if you put a shortcut in there.. to say start.bat from multipoolminer. it will run when the pc starts.
MultiPoolMiner is what I am trying to run on boot. The reason I am not doing the startup folder method is because I think those are only run after the user logs in and the task scheduler is able to run something without user logging in.
My computer rebooted the other night and was setting at the login screen without running the miner causing me to lose some time mining.

you can autologin btw.
I don't want to auto login unless you can make the computer stay locked.

if its a rig (not a computer you are using) remove the monitor and use a dummy plug
For now it is a computer I sometimes use.
I'm a little late to the party, but you can use task scheduler to auto run your miner like the person above suggested.  You can configure your system to automatically login; there are various ways but if your running windows 10 then the easiest is to use the 'Netplwiz' command and disable 'Users must enter password' box.  If you want to ensure your system locks for security, you can then go to the screensaver settings and enable the option to require a login after 1 minute of inactivity.  You do not need to set a screensaver.

The only other way I can imagine you can do this is if you run your mining software as a service.  Keep in mind that Microsoft has taken great lengths to prevent users from making ordinary programs into services.  It can be done, but ordinary programs do not conform to the same specifications that service programs do, and will often do strange things - such as indicate that the service is running when the application has in-fact failed to start, crashed, or hung.  You can use a third party service manager such as NSSM to work around this.  The mining software will run as soon as the system boots and will not require anyone to login.  However, if you are using a subset of programs that work with each other, this might be more difficult to do and you might have more success with the first option above.

I mined Geocoin at MPH for several hours today. The pool and myself found blocks. The workers page and the dashboard showed my workers and my hashrate. But there is no reward. Did anyone else have this problem?

Hi,

Same issue here but on Zclassic coin; randomly checked transactions history vs. dashboard... saw and recite some of blocks id that found and worked on, but apparently didn't showed as reward in transaction list (no block # that was appeared/worked-on in the dashboard).

I mine single coin and only in MPH.

Any advice, please?

Thanks

Zcoin (ZEC) has gone from AutoExchange list and can not be selected!?

Zcoin is not ZEC.. If that was a typo then you probably know by now the Zcash(ZEC) wallet on bittrex is under maintenance.

just turn off auto-exchange and when it comes back online you can turn auto-exchange back on and manually push all the coins into exchange..

Have a quick question, if i set auto exchange to "not set", does it mean that it will keep all my balances on a pool and i will have to manually send each coin to my wallets?

Dear miningpoolhub,

Would you consider adding LBRYcoin? Ticker is LBC. Good coin for Nvidia mining Cool

Given the long running sia saga, surely adding an lbry or decred pool would be beneficial to the OP for all the people who are dual mining ethash using claymore (which I presume is most), mine are currently dual mining elsewhere, that's a lot of 0.9% he is missing out on.

Hello,

i have this balance:
https://ibb.co/dMrQMb

and i have set in autoexchange to exchange to eth. Why are coins still in my normal wallet and not sent to autoexchange wallet?
Dont i have enought?

Thank you.

did you miss the announcement at the top of the MPH page? "Siacoin, Zcash, Zclassic, wallets are under maintenance in Bittrex. Some auto exchange requests related to these currencies would be delayed" zcash and zclassic wallets are down at bittrex so your mined coins are going to your "normal" wallet right now. thats why zencash is showing correctly because its not down. once bittrex fixes their issue you can move zcash and zclassic to the auto exchange.

I have autoexchange set to ETH and I'm mining Zcash and Sia.
Lately all I'm mining goes into the Normal Wallet instead of the Auto Exchange Wallet.
And I have been moving them manually to the Exchange wallet manually, but they just stay there and are't going On Exchange.
Any ideas ?
This is posted on the website:
"- Siacoin, Zcash, Zclassic, wallets are under maintenance in Bittrex. Some auto exchange requests related to these currencies would be delayed
Bittrex's ETH, ETC, EXP, MUSIC wallets are back to normal and auto exchange has been resumed.
If your coins are credited to normal wallet during wallet maintenance, you should have to move fund to auto exchange wallet at each pool's wallet page."

autoexchange will do its job with what you are mining, not what you already mined. You can force your "coins" to be sent on the exchange buy using the little arrow in your wallet, the one pointing right(in the transfer section).

but i have setup autoexchange before i started mining ... that is why this is strainge to me. ok will do it manualy.
