Going on 12+ hrs and no change to the confirmed exchange :/.

I have a feeling the value of DOGE is going to plummet by the time it actually gets exchanged...

It was around .00000140 last night when they said they were selling that big pile for us. Today it has been around
.00000103 at cryptsy but .00000145 at coin-e.  The leftover from last night plus a whole days more should make for
super record payouts tonight

If I add together the unexchaged and exchanged, it'll be the same payout as last night.

But I have little faith that it'll actually get exchanged tonight at this rate. I'm expecting a significantly less payout than last night. And by the time it all gets exchanged, it will have reduced in value by 50%...

We will be getting paid less tonight, much much less. Still a relative lot but nowhere near what cold math would say we should have.
My current confirmed payout for 24 hours straight mining is 2 1/2 times less than yesterdays payout for 11 hours, and that is including the sizable amount we didnt get paid yesterday. My combined exchanged and unexchanged for today (including yesterdays leftover) is slightly lower than 11 hours of mining yesterday. We'll all get a LOT today but not close to what it would have been with timelier in/out payouts.

In number terms, if things dont change, i will have been paid earned $38 here today (including yesterdays leftover) plus in theory slightly more than that again sometime in the future for todays work depending on how much lower doge goes before it gets paid to us. If I had regular pool mined and cashed out at the worst exchange rate I would have gotten more than $106 (more early in the day, less later)
Well good luck to you selling when the only exchange with enough volume to sell and wasnt down for maintenwnce doesnt process deposits in 24hours......

Is the pool having loading issues? Asking because I signed up and pointed a few systems at it with another pool as backup.. This pool is having a lot of trouble delivering work so I keep idling..

Each of my systems is 4MH/s+ so I put each one on a worker, do I need to spread it out even more than that to help or is there a bigger issue with the pool?

K i have no idea how any of this works, but bare with me for a second. From what Ive been reading the whole reason for breaks in mining the most profitable coin is to disperse the funds according to the miners settings and keep things flowing efficiently. Without the break the mining would go on and on forever until the next DOGE-like coin comes around. Here's my vague idea in simple form.

Instead of having one instance of the miner running, you have 2. Both instances have approx 50% of hashco.ws hashrate. Every so many hours (maybe 6 or 12) they switch the users from one instance of the miner to the other.  This gives a break in mining to let hashco.ws disperse the funds to the miners. The difference is they only have to do one switch from MINER1>MINER2 instead of DOGE>WDC>DOGE. This prevents the 6 minute mining of the 2nd most profitable coin and prevents 50% of the downtime we are bitching about during the switching coin process.

So what difficulty does a coin need in order for us to mine it without making the difficulty spike? (due to the enormous hashrate shocking it)

I'm trying to wrap my head around this while looking at all the other coins. Theres a ton!

With the pool at nearly 3Gh now the only thing that can shrug this off with minimal impact is litecoin.

Is it possible to allow us to lock our difficulty? The vardiff is causing huge swings in difficulty (ranging from 47 to 1000) causing many of my shares to be rejected with the reason: REJECTED: (-2, u'Share is above target', None)

I'm using a single stratum proxy to easier manage my workers.

The groundwork is in place for this, yes.  I'd say look for it next week sometime.

I'll be looking forward to it! Smiley

Hi hashcows, is this feature ready yet?

it isn't just the difficulty, some coins have different adjustment algorithms and retarget rates that make them more likely to spike up or down

Time to send DOGE from Hashcows to my wallet : 5 minutes, fully confirmed.
Time to send DOGE from Hashcows to Cryptsy : 20 hours and still "pending".

It's not hard to see where the problem lies here. It's almost like the exchange WANTS the coin to die.

How can I tell, what the pool is currently mining (beside what the homage/dashboard says)? Or is this accurate?

I ask, because homepage says DOGE and my rate is 9.700K instead of 100M it usually has on other pools?

With the fan blasting you may have luck cranking the GPU and memory clock. Give 1000/1500 a try and see if you're stable with that.

Guys, is this work rate and utility rate ok? Currently mining DOGE

Utility rate feels a little low but hash and WU look ok (ish)...

Running an R290 desperately in need of a better cooler to stop it throttling.

Your work utility is ~8 but it looks like you've been running for a little over a minute. More time is needed to get some shares accepted and see some stats. Of the stats I can see I can suggest a few things. Your intensity should be 19 or 20 and your fan should be running considerably faster than it is. The 290 cooler can do a perfectly adequate job if you spin it up high enough that it sounds like a hair dryer. I'd suggest setting the fan limit to 65-70 if you don't have to be in the same room as it very often (or if you own earplugs).

Thanks for the input, it has been running for an hour now, U is roughly 6.1, WU 690 and Kh/s 750. If I turn the fan up to 75 I can get 810 out of the card, increasing the intensity to 19/20 seems to make no discernible difference from what I can see. 411 accepted shares, 10.17% reject and 2.75% stale according to CGWatcher. Here are my settings...
