Join The Blockchain Revolution In Logistics
For the record I was the one who boosted KDC up to 43ksat a long time ago when it was around 22k. With 1 more btc it would have been at over 1,000,000satoshi but some of you laughed at me when I said we should increase the price then, that it would be better to wait. On coinmarket at that time there were barely any sell orders and we could have made the price whatever we wanted. Many more BTC would be in KDC right now if people saw that it's value went from 22,000sat to 1,000,000 (50x increase) and we would have all multiplied our initial investments.

Yes, we were all supporting it and we (the devs) we're also buying it up with you, however i recall someone posting earlier on in this thread, boasting about dumping on us and crashing the price down to 20k sats. From which it didn't go back up

I think there is a big jump in difficulty....now at 2.23681109

Difficulty up price down very confusing.

Difficulty is not stable, possibly KGW causing oscillation. It's been mentioned here before.

For example, difficulty was at 0.00107198, then 4 minutes later was at 1.6673027. A increase by a factor of 1555 in a few minutes.

Been mining at coinarmy for 30mins, still zero reported earned coins. Would be nice to see just 1 to know that everything is working okay!

I would suggest criptoe.com for getting instant payouts. Also it is very easy to use.

This still worth solo mining? Have close to a Megahash now. Only had 270khash last night and got a measly 154.001.

Nothing is dead ... it's just a little bit silent and an op with many dead links  Roll Eyes

But we have a very good working pool at criptoe.com

It seems there are 2 miners (11.83 MH) still mining Klondike coin
Who are they? Fuse?

No I'm also mining there from time to time.

I am not one of the miners on there.

I should apologize for not updating here in forever and a day.  I'm sorry I have not touched base with the community on the status of development.  So here goes-

Shortly after making progress on the wallet updates back in July, key members of the CripToe team went silent due to personal obligations/problems.  At that point I lost 2 key members of the "coding team".  I myself had things happen that took me away from the project(new house, new job, etc.).  So the project went cold for some time.  At this point, now that things have slowed down with personal stuff, the team is starting to reevaluate the development of KDC.  Let me clarify this statement.  We're not giving up on KDC, we just need to rethink our strategy on development.  So that's where we're at, even though that's probably not what everyone wanted to hear.

-Fuse

Thank you for this information and for not giving up KDC!

mine is not working. no block source... what is the name of the conf?

klondikecoin.conf

An easier way may be to start the client with these extra commandline parameters. The client will attempt to connect to one or more of these 5 peers:

klondikecoin-qt.exe -connect=54.90.115.191 -connect=107.170.142.25 -connect=87.103.15.30 -connect=176.9.189.114 -connect=188.226.176.232

(This assumes Windows. You can also do this with klondikecoin-qt and klondikecoind under *nix)
