OK I'm going to put this out there for you all, 1st I'm a dipshit!! (I didn't backup my wallet). 2nd I think I picked up a virus, all my wallet.dat files got deleted.
So I pull the hard drive and the dat file in my Klondike folder is wallet.dat.del.0874129554, I recover it but I can't do anything with it.
I try renaming it and get the wallet corrupt/salvage failed.
Thoughts? 500 KDC if I can recover it!!

Dude .... I have 9 copies of my wallets no lie....Sorry to hear....Now let me see
Do not attempt to use that drive that got infected right now...You do not want to overwrite anything on there
Use another computer and run malwarebytes or another good antivirus/antimalware on the infected drive
Then use a recovery program to find resurrect those wallet dats
Very possible to do this...I once lost a whole 30 GB Raid array and recovered most of it back
Feel free to chime in folks and help out!!
Drive is pulled and recovery running, it shows the deleted files, but when they are recovered they all load (other wallets) with runaway exceptions.
I think my KDCs are still there.

It is just a waiting game, KDC will trade on cryptsy, the question is more when will it trade on cryptsy, in 65 days we have the block halvering... so even more difficult to mine KDC.

I posted this a few pages back but it was either overlooked or noone cared, someone has pointed out that it appears that USDe has a bug hat allows unlimited coins:

Well the fact that its buggy like that needs to be fixed if it is true (i haven't looked through the code but looking at that guys other fixes theres no reason to believe its not true). If its not fixed then in the long run ts just going to keep being mined and i'd imagine crash and burn.
It, along with a lot of other alt coins runs off of litecoin 0.6 codebase which is buggy and has known denial of service vulnerabilities. We are one of very few alts that utilise version 0.8 of litecoins code
