Why don't we consider switching to X11?  Be one of the first two do it.  EMC2 is working on it now.
Anything but scrypt.  Stay ahead of the ASICs.

You want to take unprofitable coin and make completely unsustainable to mine. KDC is already an unsecure network, when the next reward reduction happens in a few days, network hash-rate will fall even further. The only way to keep KDC alive is to mine with ASIC units.

KDC should be embracing ASIC miners, it will secure the blockchain and allow the coin to recover.

Thats actually not a bad idea... there isnt 1 coin yet wich is "welcoming" scrypt asics... that could become big you know... LOL

Since more and more coins are switching algo because of scrypt asics... There will eventually be a complete "new" market with coins who welcome scrypt asics... Since asics become more and more expensive trough out the years Wink Bit of a bitcoin story there Smiley

This could mean gold man Tongue

As you have imagined, we are very busy regarding all the technical difficulties that we're experiencing.
Things are finally starting to move thanks to some members of the crypto community who requested to stay anonymous.

We will look into everybodys issues personally - soon. No major amounts of altcoins were lost during the exploits in february.

Good news - processed all KDC withdrawal requests that were stuck because the confirmation email never arrived after the SMTP server went offline.
There may be more stuck withdrawals due to forks and coindaemon errors on confirmation, but we are handling those ASAP.

the price now is indeed too low, why?
less than 20 millions, so many exchanges, why?

because it's just another shitcoin, without innovations, and lazy devs to top it all

Why do you still stick around then? You sold all your KDC already a while ago so now your just keeping watch to make sure you havent done a dumb dump?

lol gtfo. Look at all the services and work that the devs been putting into this. You just dont want to see this coin go anywhere since you dumped all your kdc and dont want to regret it , if it explode.

I'll give you that KDC is just a fork of LTC and there aren't any 'innovations' in the code itself - though there aren't really any innovative coins aside from primecoin, bitcoin, litecoin. Megacoin implemented kimotos and then we were one of the first 'new alts' to take this on, we were also one of the first new alts to successfully fork and use the litecoin 0.8 code (many clones are using the insecure 0.6).

We are still working on the exchange mentioned before but have reservations about launching it and security concerns due to the amount of exchanges getting taken out by hackers recently - though its not clear if its genuine hacks or exchange owners scamming.

We haven't dumped on you guys, we haven't pre mined, we aren't rich from your investment in this coin, we're paying server bills each month, keeping everything online.

All that aside if you have anything to contribute please let us know, otherwise keep your thoughts to yourself.

the devs do not have the duty to promote the currency alone, but the whole community, in my country the union is strength.
if the community wants a strong currency, has to be the whole community working together. "Every man reaps what he sows"
+1 Indeed, so stop complaining McNulty and do some work.... in fact i don't fucking understand why you spend time replying on a SHITCOIN!!??? Don't you have any other things to do? This makes it more then clear that you just want to put pressure on people to sell their coins so that you can add more, else you will not stay on this board.
