Is the shift wallet GUI same as shift-windows.exe?

I must close shift-windows exe and only then run the GUI or not?

So far network works gr8... 62shf! with 100Mh/s

In GUI wallet(winwows version) on balance tab it says Ether instead of Shift, but it works.
OP should put links in first post.

Thx, of course. Whats your account number, you deserve a bounty for the information.

Looks like I'm late with my hashrate and without pool. So I quit.

There was no getting in early with this. The difficulty started high. If there are 200 GPUs mining this then you should get 1 out of every 200 blocks. I hope for a pool soon. It would make this more fair.

The mining reward doesn't halve so this is still early. We need a pool ASAP though.

There is no pool soon...  Sad

We have been in talk with several. ocminer said that he would wait because he wanted to let persons solo mine..

I now have over 6000000000000000000 wei! LOL is it still called wei or did you rename it to something cool?

It is not wei. It is "Shf"

A pool is planned but it's not that easy. In order to be transparent the pool must provide analytics that will keep everyone happy. Things like "why did I get so little/much SHF from this block".

Ah okey, thats the problem..

Step number 1.

shift-windows-amd64.exe account new

(copy the account that you got generated, dont loose the password)

Step number 2.

shift-windows-amd64.exe --mine --minerthreads 4 --shiftbase youaccountnumberthatyoucopied

The --shiftbase shouldn't be required as shift should use the 1st account you have created as the default, but yeah if you want to be 100% sure it's best this way. I'll add this to the wiki.

How to see the balans? by consol commands?

Have to get into "shift console" or with "shift attach" to attach to an already running instance of shift

then do:
eth.getBalance(eth.accounts[0]);

You have to first make an account.
