Have you started the shift p2p server/client? If you follow ethminer instructions it says that you should use -F http://127.0.0.1:53901
53901 is the rpc port..

No windows wallet?
Wallet binarys are in https://github.com/shiftcurrency/shift-executables
You can not mine with the wallet, only send transactions and create accounts.
Read the mining manual, its easier.

Everyone will get it at the same time.. so it will be totally fair. We are verifying one thing first. Cant be to carefull.

It will not be another delay. Doing some final adjustments regarding difficulty. Will be half of ethereums initial diff in genesis. We mined with 40MH with ethminer, but the difficulty was too high, so we must lower it. This is turn means a new default_genesis.go and crosscompiling new binarys and moving these out to bootstraping nodes, you get it.. :p
Will use the same ethminer from Ethereum or we will have a new one?
Yes the same one as in ethereum. You will get info soon.
