@Steven Saxton
Hi Steven
May I enquire re the current status of:
1 New servers
2 New seednodes
3 Backup chain??
Cheers

I'll answer the first two points.
We at CWI have been working tirelessly to get the ALL the new systems up and running. To date, we have one issue after another, and are resolving them one by one. As such, Steven has been requesting updates, to which I have responded accordingly.
Currently, the seednodes are located on the old seednode infrastructure. This infrastructure is deprecated. It is small, slow and doesn't have much in the way of storage or power in comparison to the new servers. It did it's job, and did it well, but we have now out grown it by a factor of 3. So we have commissioned the new servers.
1 - ChainWorks Industries - New Servers
These new servers comprise currently of one main dedicated large server, with 26 'smaller' servers which were originally going to be used for nothing but the CWI-SeedNode Infrastructure. This has now changed. Due to the issues we had not foreseen, we have had to 'shuffle' a number of services within the confines of these current servers. Meaning the new large dedicated server, and 4 smaller servers will be dedicated to service the new CWI-Pool system, leaving the 20 other smaller servers for the CWI-SeedNode system (two of them are being utilized for other services within CWI). This is planned on being increased to the full 70 seednodes for CWI, of which a number of them will be for the partner coins (25 in total for partner coins), over the coming months. This will ONLY occur when the current issues and infrastructure is complete.
Currently, there are STILL a number of issues that need to be ironed out. One of those issues are the migration of the seednodes. The other issues are within the confines of CWI and need not be discussed here.
2 - CWI-SeedNodes
As mentioned above, the actual current number of seednodes that will be active once all the issues are sorted is 20. However, this number may change depending on what is required for our own internal use. this is in preparation for the full expansion of the CWI-InfraStructure, with CWI-SeedNodes being part thereof.
When will this be happening?
It is currently.
When will this be finished?
When all the issues are sorted, bugs squashed and compiles are all done. Not a moment before. If you are expecting a date or time, there won't be one. We were supposed to be fully functional and live many weeks ago, so had we set a date then, we would have been made out as liars. Which is the reason we don't supply dates or deadlines to anyone.
The current old seednodes are mostly still functional.
There are a few that have stopped, and we just cannot afford the manual downtime to keep stopping and restarting what we are doing for the migration, which is why we have left them in a suspended status. Many of the seednodes are still running.
As for the third point, that is something Steven has to respond to.
One more thing. Steven Saxton IS one of our core 'theTEAM' developers at CWI. Though he has his own projects to cater for, and devotes a great deal of time to, he is still a trusted developer, and moreso, my friend. He is not always up to speed with everything going on in ChainWorks Industries, due to this, but there will not be a time where he will drop his level of attendance to SLG (or any of the projects for that matter), and never a time he will lower the level of quality and time he devotes to all of the projects under his care. This IS the reason the title of CWI-Partner belongs to the projects he has under his wing.
Trust plays a major part in this 'developer' world, even though it doesn't seem to exist in the community driven world of crypto. Trust is synonymous with Steven. He WILL do what he says he will do - PERIOD!
