Four days now with the open wallet and several thousands coins of stakes and no stakes collected so far. At the same time, the staking icon inside the wallet is telling me: expected time to earn interest: 4 minutes. That's a bit strange...

It should work just takes time depending on your amount you stake. Average rate is 2% a year.

Hey guys, any ideas of if SLR going to be listed on any other exchanges other than just Bittrex? Feels like a waste to have such a good coin only on one exchange.

Binance/Kucoin/Youbi/Bithump/Bitfinex/Upbit etc etc.

So many that can only benefit SLR! Bittrex is great, but it's volume all year has lacked and it holds 98% of total volume.....it really needs more listings!

Linux wallet is not possible to sync. Tried many things, but nothing helped. Headers sync stuck on 37%. Also the development of wallet is almost non existent. I may have to sell the coins and leave project as I'm not capable to have a wallet on Linux.

There's a new wallet in development. It's not been released yet. You can always use Coinomi if Linux is being finicky. It's available for both android and iPhone. You can and should save your private key from Coinomi. There's a write up somewhere to get the wallet compiled and working on a raspberry pi also, as well there should be an option to reload the blockchain in the wallet app which will download the current block height.

Thank you. The wallet for android is not going to help me as I'm running the wallet for staking, but I tested it and it has nice support for many coins. That may come handy. Is there any ETA on the new wallet release? I will hold to my coins without staking until the new wallet is out.

How many coins do you need to have in the wallet to start to get some stakes? I have have kept the wallet open at times for some days but I have NEVER got any stakes.

I think with 2k I was already getting stakes every few days.

Then I should give it another try, since I have a bit more than that. How much coins do you get on average with a stake? Or is is a fixed amount?

It's true Solarcoin won't actively stake in Coinomi, however they do accrue stake time while not staking. When you import the private key from Coinomi they should begin to stake at an accelerated rate until the coin age hits an equilibrium. Notice I said "should." Smiley I have noticed extracting the private key from Coinomi can be a challenge. I'd experiment with a small amount until you can operate the extraction with confidence.

I just saw your earlier issue, if you are compiling the linux wallet make sure you use version 2.1.8 from the solarcoin-legacy github, last time I checked the solarcoin wallet is in active development and may not fully sync right now

I see that the OP has not been updated in ages - for example it is still listing Allcrypt as an Exchange for Solarcoin, but Allcrypt was hacked years ago and went out of business (most of my SLR were there and have disappeared in the process). I'd suggest you to keep these things up to date, so as not to give the idea of an abandoned project, which Solarcoin surely is not.

It seems that the price of Solarcoin is slowly returning to the early April position, we are ready to win a new round of profit investment!

I see the great potential to grow solar generator field from this coin. And If I live in EU. I could be attending the conferences which the devs team are speaking at.

How are you going to prove that someone is legitimately producing solar power and not faking it? I don't see much tech here.

There is some documentation of proof that must be submitted to verify solar power production. Documentation requirements include the following:

-facility nameplate capacity
-facility interconnection date
-And either a link to website of the solar facility monitoring software OR Third Party Generator Facility Documentation Proof of Use
