A Payment Method

Buy and sell energy and energy products on the SunContract platform

Customers on the SunContract platform have the option to make or receive payments for their electricity and energy self-sufficiency products in SNC token or Euros. While some energy customers may set their payment preference as Euros, all transactions on the platform are settled behind the scenes using our real-time currency conversion technology, in SNC tokens.

An unusual and extremely rare phenomenon occurred last week! 😲
Electricity prices on the Slovenian energy exchange ⚡ have reached a negative value. Our customers would have had to pay as much as 💰 €500.00/MWh for the electricity they generated and fed into the grid. But …
✅ Fortunately, we warned them in time to switch off 🔌 their generating sources at the scheduled time so that they would not have to pay extra.
Producers with direct Peer-to-Peer (P2P) 🤝 arrangements with customers for these specific hours on our marketplace also did not need to worry.
At SunContract, we actively monitor 💻 and respond quickly to these situations because the welfare of our customers is our priority. 😉

Hey everyone! 🌍 Did you know we're not on track to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) for energy by 2030? 😮 The goal of this project is to make sure everyone has access to affordable, reliable, and clean energy. It's a big goal set by world leaders in 2015 at the UN Summit! 🌟
However, a new report from some really great organizations like IEA, IRENA, UNSD, World Bank, and WHO says that renewable energy is doing great. Despite all the energy problems we're facing. They also say we need to make big changes in funding renewable energy projects and find new ways to invest in them.

Last Friday we were bonding employees and business partners at the traditional picnic in village Zavrate - the first 100% energy self-sufficient village. We can surely say that we had one of the sunniest and most energetic days. ☀️💪

At the token sale, we issued SNC Ethereum based (ERC20) tokens. By specifying the amount of supply, we created a closed ecosystem with a finite number of tokens. SNC token is used as the only currency for purchases of energy services like electricity, solar power plants, heat pumps, IR panels etc. on the SunContract platform.

I see Huobi is the mainly source of liquidity this days. Add more exchanges, this is needed for liquidity i guess.

To achieve its goal, Croatia set up a 2030 National Energy and Climate Plan. The national strategy aims at a 36.4% share for renewable energy by 2030 and significant investment across the energy sector, including hydropower, wind farms, solar photovoltaic plants, and hydrogen energy.
