In Spectrecoin two addresses: one ordinary, the other anonymous. All transactions between anonymous addresses are anonymous. Nobody will know from which address and on what payment was made. You can not see the IP address of the wallets either. Therefore, it is certainly not surprising that in a darknet someone is using Spectrecoin.
What did you imply? Is that mean we have rights to choose which type of transactions we would like to do (ordinary or anonymous)? Personally, I think most users will use anonymous functions if transaction fees for both types are the same.

Top wallet wake up.

Yup, if that person is reading here, please consider getting the newest wallet and configuring it to donate the stake rewards 100% to development ... it benefits the value increase of the portfolio much more than keeping the 5% for yourself. Those 5% donated to the developers would most likely result in a +20% value increase over one year if put into the hands of our developers / marketing.

The same holds for other big wallets as well, obviously.  Wink Donating 50% of your stakes gives you less value increase overall, than donating 100% which results in faster development speed.

Obviously, the bag holders of such huge amount of coins may a rich and busy guy. So with 90% possibility, he won't waste his time on reading this thread.  Grin Grin

Is there supposed to be something amazing with this new 1.4 wallet release? What features will make the price jump?

Dear owner of the wallet - https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xspec/address.dws?4738.htm

Please choose 100% of the booty to send to the developers.

To increase the price of a coin and to develop a project is much more profitable!

Dear friend, if anyone knows the owner, tell him about the new system of self-financing of the project.
I'm sure that the wallet owner reads this topic on the forum, and he's smart, understands that to fund the project is much more profitable than stacking.

I think it's necessary to lay out instructions on how to send 100% to send developers.

That's no sense. As all doubts around, jbg should move the progress and gain the trust of the community/investors.

If not, how can the investors donate to a "potential" scam?

wow xspec melt, too much fud, too many accusations that look like true, xspec will get to zero.

I've been wrong saying this before about Spectrecoin but now is probably a good time to buy.

Agreed. Fantastic opportunity to buy.

Projects in this coin were in stand-by, so it is normal that some serious investors who did their own research are now turning back.
For me, these accusations looks like a test, quite healthy finally. Devs are reacting, probably much faster than if nothing happened. Useful after a period where nothing has been released.

Do we have an official roadmap for 2018?

Yes, it is on the project homepage. https://spectreproject.io/roadmap

But normally, the progress will delay than the roadmap. That's also one reason  the FUDers doubt about the jbg.

Spectrecoin is a very interesting coin, just not as advertised of course as Monero, now is in the downtrend like all altcoins. After adding to the normal stock exchanges can fly, especially if it will be used in darknet.

Sad to day but it looks like the fudders are winning right now with former investors dumping like crazy. All alts are down but this is even downer. Can we estimate when something solid will be released to quieten these fudsters? Days / weeks / months?

Definitely not months. Jbg commented on this today, he is recovering from this loss of a family member, and will continue working on 1.4 now. The original release was maybe a week late on the original plan (end of February), plus we have one week delay because of his loss, so think about 2 weeks maybe? There is no hurry, everyone who is still in the game now doesn't even care if it will be delayed.

Former investors sell, new investors get in ... that's the market guys. If you want to make an investment decision, watch the fundamentals and then draw your own conclusions.

In the meanwhile we are also talking to developers who could be interested in joining as an additional core developer, and make plans to get the wider developer community involved as well. It's all getting better!  Smiley

In the end it's people like you who build a solid long-term investor foundation for coins. And it's most likely you who wins out in the end. @KryptoKai if you believe in XSPEC, do the right thing and either stick to what you have or increase your holdings unless you are already neck deep into this. Selling because weak hands do is not a smart move.
