Are there active devs, working on TES?
I bought it long long time ago. And it is siting in my wallet.

Yes, don't worry, there is a dev team behind Teslacoin and everything is progressing steadily. Check out the OP. New Teslacoin website is out, Social channels are all set, Win wallet is upgraded, waiting to launch together with Mac and Linux, there are some of the short to mid-term goals explained in OP and also a couple of pages back.
There is a new video in the making, marketing and promo campaigns, Teslastarter, Android mobile wallet etc.

Of course you can always contact us, as any help is appreciated. And yes, if you don't have any TES already, now is quite good time to buy some, because when all this moves forward, the price will reflect the real value of Tesla's inventions and by that enabling support to realize the most important inventions.

By buying TES you not only make a great investment for yourself, you also invest in nature and healthier living and last but not least, show some respect to the genius of Nikola Tesla, the genius which inspires people even more today than in the past, because it seems that only now people are really starting to comprehend for real what is at stake and are starting to support ideas that will help free the mankind and make the world a better place for all.

Some historians say Tesla is the man who invented 20th century, and that is true, but not entirely, he is the man who invented 21st century and beyond, it's just we, every one of us, have to put his/hers little stone into it and help in the effort to make this true.

it really is an opinionated decision - and its of personal opinion that guides where i lay my btc ...

as you know - its usually into thefarm - which is in dire need of maintenance at the moment ...

ill keep watching and possibly invest in the coming year - but the focus will be completely on cwi and our projects for the immediate future ...

This looks like a really great coin to start investing into it. The only thing is only being actively traded on a single exchange which is Bittrex, but as long as it keeps alive on that market, then it should be no issue.

I'm always on the lookout for hybrid PoW/PoS coins so I will give TeslaCoin a shot. Still, I wonder if the dev is still active or the community has taken over? 

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to support this coin for the long term. 

We are all investors here, but some of us invest directly in coins and others you invest in mining to get coins.
It's a matter of how you feel more confortable investing. Both are ok.
But I think diversification is key. PoS and PoW.
I'm ok with PoW coins even if I can not mine.
I think projects are more important, than how I get my stake

its not i dont 'like' pos coins at all ...

i am miner first and foremost - so pos is a bit of 'downer' for me ...

but all good in the fight for pow and pow and all thats in between ...

Totally agree. New generations only know about TeslaMotors and Elon Musk but they dont know anything about Nikola Tesla

Knowing about Nikola Tesla will also help the humanity move forward but again, this will come from our pocket 

You dont like POS coins? I look for them because its a mining game I can get with not having any miners of my own and all.

Again, being in TeslaMotors is very interesting, but not the main objective of TeslaCoin.

Do you know who Nikola Tesla was?

I do drive the x and I do love it but im not a marketing guy, Im not even in sales. All I can do is act the part. Why dont the devs consider running an ICO to raise money, then use that money to buy TES and use those TES as a bribe for elon to take it as payment. That makes a lot of sense and might even work.

If you really drive model X, then you have some contacts or can make them. You can contact your dealer and tell them how satisfied you are with Tesla car and for the next model you will buy you want to buy it with the help of TES (Teslacoin). If you will be loud enough, Elon for sure will hear you.

If you really want to help speed up TES development and would like Teslacoin to climb the mountain and stay on top, you are always welcome to drop by, PM one of the team members if you like and propose how you can help.

Remember, any skill and ability (marketing, development, funding (TES or BTC)) that will help Tesla become what we really want, is welcomed.

If community would really like for Teslacoin to achieve it's goals, we can discuss the TES donations for a fund with which we will be able to make progress in that direction. What is 10 or 20% of ones holdings to donate, if each TES would be worth 10 cents for example as a consequence. And that is less than 7 million USD marketcap, that is probably less than 200 Teslas, when you already mentioned Tesla Motors.

BTW, one would think RobertdeNiro would know enough people to do what needs to be done ;-)

I imagine, driving Tesla X would mean you have enough funds to at least support Teslacoin with some funding, if the only thing you care to come up is dilluting it's value and then feel offended by your critic.

Nobody is attacking you, but we have enough viable other options to try before your proposal (that has been already chewed). RW probably meant you can buy Teslacoin now and you will be able to contribute to a fund that will be used for different proposes (also to make an offer to Elon for example).
