If it was up to me I'd remove LKY and ARG as well as LTC. Those three have low or no hashrates, and litecoin is difficult to mine with only 10MHs in a single pool, even when the multipool switches and gets a few blocks solved and then moves on again the LTC pool is just sitting basically.

Agreed, agreed, and agreed.

Next set of coin additions that look promising:

Cosmoscoin
Spots
Anoncoin

If you are wanting to keep costs down, I think you could get rid of ARG and LKY, they haven't done much lately.

Spots are not good for the multipool due to fast difficulty adjustment after 2 blocks only - it is more trouble to get it into multipool then it worth. Especially when current difficulty could be only detected after the first block of the lower difficulty is already mined.

Yeah, spots is probably not worth it.  Anoncoin I'm not sure about, I'm not really interested in drawing the ire of Anonymous.

Cosmoscoin is in the process of being added, I was going to have it done last week but I got sidetracked on the CAP and TRC issues.  I should be able to finish adding it today or tomorrow.

we mined ltc for 5 hours and dont get anything if we found no coin, unfortunate.  I only hope the residual miners find it in the next 4 hours so it registers as something?

Just how large are the biggest ltc pools, I guess they have an easier time

I thought Flound was going to remove LTC from the multipool?

See this was my concern too about mining LTC on multiport.  Turns into a waste of time.

It balances itself out when multipool mines several blocks in a row in a short period of time

DGC, NVC pools are down for 30 minutes for maintenance.
I don't think DGC is transferring Unconfirmed -> Confirmed balances since the maintenance.

It is, there was actually a glitch during the maintenance where a bunch of wrong payments got put into unconfirmed, these will disappear soon.

You flound, can you notify nasudCZ to get his client restarted? He is still in the loop of reporting milion bad shares as I was before, which drops pool efficiency down, I guess it loads server needlessly.

Hi Flound,
Could you add network hash rate to trc server stats? Also on my stats page, trc  network hash rate is at 0. Diff changes are showing fine.

Many thanks, your work in much appreciated.

Time-based PPLNS, if I understand how it works, is designed for people to keep mining on 1 specific coin. For Multipool, isn't this the exact opposite of what you should be using ? I'm starting to think that this is the Achilles heel of this pool.

I think mutlipool was the first pool which started using time-based PPLNS. So, multipool kind of designed it (unless you find somebody else who started using before multipool.in did). The hash rate of the pool more than doubled since multipool switched to time-based PPLNS from share-based PPLNS, so people are ok with it.

Pools are there to fairly distribute rewards when blocks are found and time-based PPLNS is doing it wonderfully. You will notice that time is different based on the coin to be fair to people who just mining specific coin and on the other hand to people who are using multiport.

I've had a huge unconfirmed balance for around 12 or 14 hours now at least, in DGC. Any idea on how long it will take to be confirmed?
