I found a bug in the Add worker feature on the site.

I was trying to add a worker with name 6870_777 (for my rig that has 6870 & 7770 cards in it). The Add worker button complained that I should try a different name.

I was able to add that worker when I removed the _ character from the name. However, after that I was able to rename the worker to use the name 6870_777 with the Update worker button.

So, either both of those features should allow underscores or neither one..

Fixed, thank you.

Well, actually one fan on the 7950 is broken, that is why I run it at lower clock than usually, so that it won't get too much heat.

My results with higher TC have been worse, 8192 gives the best results for me.. I don't know why that is so.

I bought a new fan for $14 on ebay and fixed my 5970 with just a screwdriver.

Look at your hardware errors - compare # of submitted shares to the # of shares shown inside the pool stats - they will much, but you must fix your HW errors before you can expect your hash rate to match to your hashrate at the pool's stats.

Edit: what GPUs are you using, please consider increasing thread-concurrency to a higher #

I fixed the HW errors on GPU1 by decreasing intensity from 18 to 13.

GPU0 is a 7870xt with 15232 thread concurrency, GPU1 is a 7950 with 8192 thread concurrency. These are the optimum values that I have found by trying several different values.

7950 (depending on the card) would need at least 14300 (from my experience),  and 22400 for the best results with intensity of 18-20 (depending on the card). Anything lower then 14K would produce a lot of HW errors.

I have two 7950: and both of them are doing scrypt mining at 625-650Kh/s at 22400TC

You might run into errors if you you don't have enough system memory.

Edit: try fixing HW not with intensity decrease, but with some other setting (like TC), I have found that most cards for optimal speed would need at least 18 intensity

PhenixCoin at that point, but I think it happened also with Feathercoin.

I'll keep monitoring for this issue and report on what coins it happens with.

This was an issue on PXC and CAP, I have updated the pool config and this should not happen again.

I just started mining on the pool1.eu.multipool.us (I am in Finland), and my hashrate shown on the website is 50-70% of the hashrate CGMiner shows me.

I also get lots of rejects:

 GPU 0:  81.0C 3383RPM | 386.7K/378.3Kh/s | A:114 R:89 HW: 6 U:2.55/m I:18
 GPU 1:  73.0C 3624RPM | 319.6K/303.1Kh/s | A: 79 R:63 HW:32 U:1.77/m I:18

Rejects show this message:

[2013-08-08 20:57:43] Rejected a615ddd1 Diff 9.86K/64 GPU 0 pool 0 (DBInterface instance has no

Is that some error on the pool software? Unfortunately I cannot see the complete error message from my CGMiner output.

At intensity 18 you are going to get hardware errors pretty much no matter what, I suggest max of 13 for scrypt mining.

Yes, that definitely looks like an issue with the pool software.  Do you know what coin we were mining when you got this error?

It's due to those blocks getting pushed out of the last 2000 transactions before they could be fully confirmed.

Normally it shouldn't happen because I scan the past 2000 transactions on every chain, every 5 minutes, it's probably due to the outage this morning and it not being able to scan for a couple hours.  I'll go in and fix those blocks manually.
Cool. FTC also has a bunch of blocks like that from the same time frame.

Doing great work!

A couple of questions (that can wait till you take a breather ;-)

What does it mean when you have blocks that have confirms, but they haven't matured yet, but all the blocks on both sides have? Example: CAP blocks 65193 and 65195

Are you going to adjust the Round Time for CGB to 15mins like the other lower diff coins? Or are you trying something new with a super low 1 min Round time?

When is auto-exchange to BTC support coming??

soon(tm)
I can't wait for that, then it'll make the multipool feature more useful IMO.  Smiley

Site's up, one of the coin daemons crashed last night.  I've been trying to catch those exceptions in the code but they are elusive.
