It became clear after Equihash asic's announcement. Is it bad or good? According previously presented asics for example for x11 algo the price of x11 coins grew up very high in half of year. So it's quite possible that it can be with equihash also. Time will show

When you download the new version and copy files from new wallet into old wallet like it says, opening the wallet downloaded the proving keys again it took a while longer than the first time. But it came right as soon as it finished getting the keys... I could try upload the proving keys files i have in my wallet and you can try it if you like, please join the Votecoin discord and post your issue in the #help section.

I threw these 3 files from my wallet on Linux. But now when I start votecoind.exe it requests rpcuser and rpcpassword. I did not understand further.

VOT price on Trade Satoshi is very manipulative. You can move market by 50% only with 0.1-0.2 BTC. will the devs have an option for a debit card? Maybe with time but probably not in the beginning I think. Anyway, let's see how the people will react when the idea goes live. But adding a debit card could speed up the process.

I think it possible by using CLI votecoind like in older versions of VOT wallet.
But the presence of console tool in GUI wallet is highly recommended. It's usable tool for sending VOTs to several recipients for example

Does this error appear when you use "clear installation" ? Would it appear if you start VoteCoin wallet v.2.0.0 from new folder without moving any old files and waiting full network sync?

When I migrated from VoteCoin GUI v.1.1.2 to v.2.0.0 I just moved VoteCoin folder (path: ~\resources\app\VoteCoin) to the new one. This folder contains wallet.dat and blockchain. Also recommended to backup private keys to the separate drive

Ive updated windows wallets on two machines and both went fine. Note wallet will download proving keys again presumably due to sapling privacy reinforcements.
