New Binary-Chain ANN is primary for VeriCoin and Verium now, please move discussion there to prevent too much fragmentation of community. Thanks.  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-binary-chain-vericoin-and-verium-the-first-dual-blockchain-protocol-2385158

guys when you are solo mining and your wallet is not located on the same network than your miners how do you configure it in the command ?

I use wallet address instead of an internal IP ?

yes it is possible, you have to guide workers on the wallet in the local network, or even via the internet. Look in this thread at the beginning there are such examples

Sounds good. You guys just keep mining please, I am about to begin to accumulate this one.
I see great potential in this.

Can someone tell me max supply for this coin? search everywhere but cant found it  Sad

I think it's about 3 million. The idea is to have about a 10:1 ratio with vericoin, and vericoin has around 30 million in circulation.

Hello guys
I have managed to install GUI Verium Vault in Ubuntu 16.04 and I already mined through this wallet. I would like to know that there is a difference in hash rate if I'm going for cpuminer. Since I'm quite new to Linux, I don't know the command line to run the cpuminer in Ubuntu. I appreciate if someone can help me for the command line to set up and run the cpuminer.

Also, I intend to mine solo. Is there a difference in term of profit compared to pool

Much appreciate for your help

Regards,

The VRM project has a good team, and the implementation of the roadmap has been good for the past year. The mining investors seem to be good and active and have been discussing the topic. Smiley

hey all, I've got a test rig running an xu4 (linux ubuntu 16.04) with the wallet v1.1.0.0 and miner running on same machine. I've got two more xu4's will be deploying as i build the rig but wanted to get my feets wet so to speak.

couple questions if one may be so kind to answer:
1) when running ./verium getmininginfo hash rate shows 0 as does est. block. im assuming this should have some sort of tie to the hash rate running on the miner.
which leads to a sub question of 1: if assumption is correct would i see the total hash rate of all miners in rig?

2) in same screen - what is currentblocktx and pooledtx referring to?

3) if a block is found, is there an indication or is it just shown in balance and or new mint under ./veriumd getinfo?

thanks to anyone who can take the time to explain, it would be greatly appreciated.

-welcome to the machine...

Is there a mobile mining wallet application available for VRM or was that all fake news?

Linux deploy app, clone the vrm miner, compile it for arm and done.

Wasssssup!
I am solo mining on an INTEL 4790K.

Just started today 12-03-2017 at 10pm.
Lets see how this goes...

here is my solo hashrate using 7 threads out of 8 threads on the old i7 4790k

By the way, is there any GPU miners for Verium Reserve???

In regards to solo mining, Ive followed the instructions.
All miners seem to connect fine, I wondered if someone would kindly answer a few questions?

I assume with multiple miners I just use the same username and password, I dont need seperate workers for each device?
Is there anyway to monitor whats going on, Other than seeing the usual data on each miner?
I assume when Im lucky enough to find a block the reward appears the in the wallet in the verium vault?

Could someone please point me in the right direction on setting up solo mining?
Ive seen a verium.conf file mentioned but cant seem to locate this file, Is it something I manually create and add the RPC lines?

Thanks in advance

Linux or Windows?

Can anyone explain this and how to avoid it in the future? This happened on vrm2.poolinat0r.com mining pool:

Blocks from 11/22/2017 21:31:52 till today are all orphaned, hashrate wasted for 2 days.

https://i.imgur.com/hGWRKtf.png

even in my small cpu I lost almost a VRM. do you have to trust?
what kind of problem?

I don't understand your question.

By the way I'm back to that pool, orphaned blocks issue - if it was an issue - seems fixed, too bad for two days hashrate gone. Other pool I tried had too low total hashrate and block time was too high.
