hmmmm, yeah could be true.
The classic bisq problem: how to get enough base currency for all those deposits and fees.

I think they should add a "no deposits" feature where people can trade without deposits on their own risk. If stuff goes wrong they can still give the other trader a bad reputation (reputation system would be great, too).

hmm, anyone care to donate some ltc so I can set up some XCN-LTC trade offers on bisq?

LVfqjCcAiANYaZmgXb7NRKpfRAVTjeFZGS

Or I'd buy 0.1 LTC @ 0.0001 LTC / XCN so I can get some liquidity in LTC Smiley

I think you need more than 0.1 LTC.

I tried to use lowest possible security deposits and my orders say buyer 0.06 LTC / seller 0.6 LTC, trading fee is about 0.01 LTC too. I could be wrong  here, I'm still learning to use it.

There is a DOGE pairing on bisq.network:

https://markets.bisq.network/?market=xcn_doge

But there seem to be no trades until now. Be careful, they will delist XCN if there's no activity at all ...

Thanks for the tip, so let's make some volume there!

is any exchange besides aex/bx.in.th/novaexchange available now?

yes! bisq! -> https://bisq.network/

bisq supports e.g. LTC as base currency. Then we all can trade LTC <-> xcn on there as we like.
Or, of course, BTC but as bisq is a decentralized exchange, every trade is an actual transaction between wallets and therefore costs tx fees.
I recommend not using BTC therefore, as their fees are just too high.

I think bisq currently supports BTC, LTC, Dash.
I don't like Dash on there as they are our direct competition (technologically inferiour though).

We should all just move there and create some volume on that exchange. That could give us a handle to upgrade XCN as a base currency in there in the future.
I think XCN would be perfectly suited as a base currency in bisq because of our scalability. If bisq users could be convinced to use XCN as base, then we'd suddenly have a real use case next to speculation.

fyi: The concept of a base currency on bisq means that one can trade FIAT <-> base curreny on there.
The normal trading goes FIAT <-> base <-> ALT or ALT1 <-> base <-> ALT2

I'm not able to find any trading XCN pair on bisq.network, can you provide a direct link to the market? Thanks!

you have to add it to the list of visible trading pairs in your settings (bottom right):
https://imgur.com/a/NUJmm

It might not be on the homepage because there aren't any trades happening yet.
I don't have any of the other base currencies, therefore won't be taking part in trading there but whoever has any of doge, ltc or dash should be sweet.

I see.. I'll try to add it, I'm kind of noob using bisq.network platform, actually I didn't used it before Cheesy Thanks for the tip!

So anyone would sell some XCN for 66 sats, as on bx thailand?

Have liked this coin so got a wallet and some coins from AEX that are now tied up there.

I guess the other ways to get XCN coins are to mine it or buy directly from someone here using
other crypto if someone wants to trade to LTC.

Have radeon R9 for mining but may need help setting it up with a pool.
Thank you

Just to ask: Have you tried FreiExchange to add XCN?

https://freiexchange.com/pages/coin_request

They write they require a "small fee" but seem relatively trustworthy as they're related to the Freicoin community, a coin with strong ideological foundations which one may like or not, but that does not look like a scam at all (and is already there since 2013). The domain seems to exist since 2016.

I started a little German thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822792.new . Unfortunately, I am not sure if there's any exchange left besides BX Thailand and Novaexchange where Europeans can buy XCN so currently I am not able to tell anyone where to buy XCN - may have been a bad moment to start the thread ...

If you want to say so, yes.
In short: integer overflow allowed turning transaction fees into transaction gains which some guy made extensive use of. But it's all long fixed now.
