The sync is slow sometimes but if you just leave it running it will work eventually

I think new version after 7.8.2 should resolve sync issues. But for now
Blockchain for Win64 wallet (only)
Save Seed!
Advanced --> Accounts --> Backup/clipboard wallet Seed
Then paste with Ctrl+V in Notepad and save in safe place
64 digits and letters
Check twice! Seed is required to restore your accounts
Close wallet
Download and extract 3 files from archive to %LOCALAPPDATA%\RaiBlocks with replacement

After replacement start wallet again
Advanced --> Accounts --> Import wallet
1st field: paste Seed you saved in file before
2nd field: type 2 words
clear keys
And press Import Seed
Then check if your wallet is restored. If you had more than 1 account, press Advanced --> Accounts --> Create account

EDIT: one file, the "data.ldb" file, can not be accessed:
EDIT: I retried the complete archive "RB_64bit_2017_03_11.rar" for download, and this works fine.
EDIT: Block count is now: 516008 (35). I have no VPN and fast connection to the internet, the explorer is showing 518,566 blocks currently. Waiting for catchup.
EDIT: Seems fine now: 518851 (21) in wallet, and the explorer in the internet is nearly the same. I had a try with four different Linux wallets in the past, all of them stalled. I go on with Windows temporarily.
EDIT: After importing my two different seeds, I see only very small amounts of my historical stash. Is there something like a "refresh" for this wallet?

No one's going to buy with that rate we already have exchanges to trade your mrai,so stop spmming this thread nobody will be interested in it,I am using Cryptopia wallet to claim mrai,so I can exchange it as soon as it arrives and it's much convenient even though there's no fee involve.

It will just update the app, keep in mind that every RaiWallet version is installed in a different folder. E.g. your current wallet should be installed in C:/Program Files/rai 7.8.1, the new one will be installed in C:/Program Files/rai 7.8.2.
But that's not where the real data about your wallet is saved, that's in C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/RaiBlocks.
In any case, just backup your seed and you'll be safe!

it seems the synchorisation of my wallet can never catch up. it is currently at 506,000+ blocks and it is now 512,000+ blocks total. my internet connection is quite good so i dont know why my wallet cannot seem to catch up. everytime my blocks count increases the total blocks increases too. help please from devs or those who know. thanks so much
If count is leading, there is no choice but to wait.

Same with you. It really takes too long, I'm currently using a windows 7 32 bit and I have a good internet connection. They said it needs more patience and wait to finish the synchronization.It's still kinda slow if you synch for the first time because the wallet might connect to slow peers that have old wallet versions installed... those are the words of the dev:
"Just an FYI: yesterday I was fixing a lot of performance issues with syncing. I'm currently modifying it so it pulls from multiple machines this we it doesn't get stuck on one slow node. After I'll look at the win32 crashes."
"Soon I'm going to add version tracking and new nodes won't peer with old versions. Anything < 7.8.0 is too out of date."
So it's just a matter of time
